AI will likely cure many if not most diseases. It will extend life expectancy. It is already creating a net increase in jobs. But the most significant point is that we have no choice to continue our AI development. For if we stop now, China will totally dominate us.

I don’t disagree. But legislation to regulate them is a must. I can’t blame Congress for not yet having done that. The reason is because it is the unknown and what exactly needs to be regulated. It would be wise to gather those who are leaving and have in depth conversations now.
