Nothing says "welcome back to Ottawa" quite like witnessing a robbery while shopping at my local Bottega. It didn't happen to me in London or Bangalore. A woman walked in, started emptying the shelves, and brazenly tried to walk out with the merchandise until the manager stopped her. A cashier told me these thieves sometimes turn violent. Even when police arrest them, they're often back on the street and back to robbing the same stores. This is the fourth robbery I've witnessed in this area in less than six months. Great city you're running, Mark Sutcliffe .
