If you're "oppressed" here's some reality for you. I;m and old white guy and I've lived many decades. In that time I have only heard 3 people ever criticize blacks. I hired hundreds of people over those decades and never considered race a factor. Professionalism, integrity, honesty, communication skills, and reliability were the only hiring factors. One third of my employee base was black. I estimate that the serious racist elements in this country are 4% white and 25% black. And the 4% white racist minority is composed mainly of drunks, alcoholics, drug users and the drug addicted. They do not lead, influence or control anyone or anything. It's time to grow up and stop making excuses.

I need Black people in Baton Rouge and Louisiana to recognize how the Attorney General of this state is using a large portion of her time to target Black leadership. My thoughts on the Converse ad is that people are looking for any reason to justify their "outrage." While they desperately look for anything that could appear racist, white people don't have to look that hard. We've seen FULL VIDEOS of innocent white people being dragged and beaten by mobs of black people. The white cloth in the ad isn't the problem.
