This woman was charged much more than she expected while charging her car overnight. She thinks the car keeps charging all through the night even though the battery was fully charged a few hours after she plugged it in. Unless there was a malfunction, I think I read somewhere... that all of these cars have a fail safe in them. Once the designated amount of charge is reached, the charger shuts off. I don’t think this car charged through the night. I have drove an Ev before, although I was never overcharged like this. The app told me roughly when my car would be fully charged, it also warned me that there would be a fee, for leaving the car plugged in after it’s reached capacity. I feel more and more places are doing this because when owners leave their charged car plugged in, it prevents others access to it. I was fortunate enough to know what to expect because I did my research. I know this is an expensive lesson to learn but maybe some people won’t learn unless it costs them more money.show more

This woman left her car plugged into the charger over 10 hours too long. Her apartment complex charges $10 an hour if anybody leaves their cars plugged in once charged. I think there needs to be rules in place so others can enjoy the benefits of having a charger on site. I also feel there needs to be respect as well. When I briefly had an EV, what was nice about the app was that once my car was charged, it notified me that it was charged. That way I was able to go and move it out of the way so I wouldn’t be charged fees. While I think it’s fair to be charged a fee, I think what would be a great compromise for these apartment complexes is that they all have to have an app accessible for anybody who uses it. That way notifications can be used an a warning. After an allocated time if the car wasn’t moved, then they can start charging people an idling fee. That’s just my opinion, I believe in rules but I think there should be a little understanding as well since life happens quick for people.

This woman spent $50k on a used car at a dealer only for them to come back to her later and ask for the car back. They claimed the other owner bought an electric car that she didn’t like and wanted to back out of the deal when in reality they didn’t pay off the trade and the other woman was still making payments on it. For me this would be my biggest nightmare if I ever bought a car. I couldn’t imagine being lied to by the dealership like this. I would never think something like this could happen because when I am buying a new car, there is an air of excitement that comes with the car and the new features and styling. I wouldn’t be able to control myself if I found out the dealer was lying all this time because the previous owner had to track me down and come visit me themselves. It would be overwhelming for me to even know where to start for something like this. I wouldn’t think this happens often, I think the first thing that pops into mind would be to call an attorney. So after spending all that money on a car, now I have to pay more for an attorney just so I don’t get ripped off. Needless to say the plan for me is to eliminate the deal, take the car back, get my down payment back and go to a brand new dealer. I wouldn’t be able to trust the previous dealer to have done the right thing. I would have zero trust in them anymore.

I would have a fit if I was told the problem on my car costs less than $10 but the dealer won’t sell it to me h less I buy the part it’s attached to for about $1000. It’s getting more and more expensive to service your own car, there are more rules you have to obey by. I think it could be marketing strategy to sell more of their in house service plans. When I bought a car last year they said that the maintenance can get expensive and they showed me an example of one. Then after they shocked me with the price they said there was a better alternative and offered their service plan which was the price of the one service they used as an example. I know people who went out and bought used luxury cars because they depreciated so much. But that smile went away when they were presented with an outrageous 4 figure bill for an oil change. I know many of us want to drive amazing cars, my advice to you is to do your research on the total cost of ownership not just the monthly payment and insurance.

This young man was handwashing his car since there was no line here. He does it all the time. The cars we see are for the automatic car wash. Anyways he already paid once and got water in the bucket so he could hand wash, after he did that he was preparing to put more money in so he could rinse. An employee comes up and takes the money out of his hand and pushes him and tells him to leave. Claiming Hess making others wait yet we see nobody there waiting. Would you have left too? The cops came and heard him out but since the employee wanted him to never come back, he was asked to respect that. I used to do this all the time especially when traveling. Sometimes I like doing it in the winter because of all the salt and such, I don’t want it damaging my paint. One time I decided to do this at about 2 in the morning on the way to the gym. Obviously there was nobody there and there is usually an officer parked in the parking lot because there used to be reports of people parking back there in the dark sleeping and doing other stuff. I was in the middle of my hand wash when a homeless man literally climbed from behind the dumpster nearby and asked why I was being noisy. I told him I was only washing my car and I was allowed to as it was a 24 hr spot and h paid after all. He started being unreasonable and I flagged the officer behind me, it took him about 30 seconds to notice and he pulled up and I explained what was going on. He said he figured that’s what I was doing since he often saw me doing it before. He did tell the homeless man to leave, and he did without incident. I was able to finish rinsing and drying my car and I left. I don’t live in a bad area, so I don’t feel unsafe doing this, have you ever had an issue washing the car at night? This lady’s neighbor speeds by her house every time, kicking up dust everywhere and posing a threat to the kids in the area. She ends up coming up with her own solution whether it’s legal or not, it’s actually kind of funny in a creative way. Maybe by doing that it made things worse, would you have done the same? When I was younger. I was that neighbor. I had a fast car inspired by the Fast and the Furious, it was pretty loud too. My neighbors always complained about my car and called the cops. The funny thing about that was the one that was the most vocal didn’t even live next to me. They lived at the end of the street where I would speed off and chirp my tires. After a few heated exchanges I thought it was over. A month’s went by and I haven’t heard anything. I woke up early for work and noticed my car was egged in a few spots. I got into the car and left, drove to the touch-less car wash and washed the car. I inspected it later and there wasn’t any permanent damage it was just a mess. I didn’t have any cameras at the time so I didn’t know who did it, I always had a suspicion who it was but I couldn’t prove it. Started off my Friday in a not so great way, taking my wife’s car in for a probably expensive car repair. But, I did something I never would have done in the past, because I couldn’t when I was getting an error on my scale & needed a seatbelt extender, I walked home! I know it’s not the Olympics or a marathon, but it was a pretty good start to my day (well it partly offset leaving the car at the shop haha) 🙏

I hesitate posting this for a bunch of reasons, but I think it's good to just be transparent about everything. I love to highlight all of the incredible things that FSD does, but I also think it's good to talk about any issues that it has currently. In my opinion the E2E on the highway needs some major changes. This clip was from my drive yesterday, and it is without a doubt the most dangerous situation that FSD has put me in. Yes, I am aware that it is FSD Supervised - everything that happens in the car is ultimately my responsbility. I just was wanting to see what the car would do, and I was hoping that it would make a better decision to be honest. Let me know what you think.

I will never ever ask what’s wrong of offer help if I wasn’t actually going to help. I see accidents on the highway almost daily, especially in the winter, if I am going to stop I always call the police first so I know help is on the way for them and for me if things go south. A woman was in an accident and she’s going car to car begging for help. She thought these people were going to help her and jumped in there. At only for them to boot her out. What would you do though, would you let her in the car? To me it could be a setup or they could have serious injuries would t want anything to happen. I wouldn’t let them in the car. People will criticize because they aren’t in this position or it hasn’t happened to them. I say unless I am equipped to help, I won’t. But I will always call for help. I feel that’s the best thing we can do in most of these cases and if anyone else has anything to say about it they don’t know what they are talking about.

A nurse traveled to a patient to provide care on a motorcycle and was denied entry into this gated community. They told her to leave her bike and walk, she refused and ended up leaving. The guard kept repeating the same thing that this community does not allow motorcycles at all, seems a little excessive however if somebody tried to steal her bike do you think the guards would really stop them? I don’t blame her for leaving. Back when I was delivering pizzas in college I had to deliver to a gated area before too and it was funny because I’ve delivered before with no problems. But this time I had a sporty car with a loud exhaust, I could see the looks of condemnation when I pulled up. It wasn’t the normal guy I’ve seen before but an older gentleman and he told me I couldn’t enter because of how loud the car was and there were noise ordinances inside this area. He wouldn’t even let me park and walk it. I ended up calling the customer who then drove up and got their food, the customer was furious at how I was treated and even gave me a bigger tip. I know some places can be uptight but to be honest they let motorcycles in and some of the ones I saw were even louder than my car. So I don’t think that was the case, maybe he just didn’t like the import car culture who knows. Either way the customer got their food and I got a big tip so it was still a win win.

Guys i took my car to vw Groblersdal for EPC light and the car was loosing power. They charged me R54k and R2k for diagnostics. I paid them in full from January until today my car is not fixed and now i must take it as it is without refund because the parts 'Turbo' is a special order aa . They fail to produce a diagnostic report from January to prove that indeed the problem was a turbo. My take on this is I don’t feel unlicensed teens on E-bikes should be allowed to ride in the streets with oncoming traffic. I see a group of kids blocking the lanes for cars, it was only a matter of time before someone was hurt. These kids were riding in one lane and weaving into another, when this car tried to pass them it looked like one of the riders got too close and tried to swerve and fell. Then the ringleader of the group rides up and damages the car. I think that events like this is why lose drivers despise E-bike riders. The kid filming who damaged the car took down the plate number of the car and wanted them to pay for the damage to the bike that was damaged. I don’t think the car is liable for that. If anything I feel the kids are liable for the damage to the car, who do you feel is at fault here?

This is what I want to ask about the most. I want to know everything from start to finish. The first thing I have to admit is…. You will get jet lag. So sleepy. It’s the US… time zone totally flipped. And I went without telling my fans. Surprised them with “hi, America” Everyone was confused. Yes it was a photo I took in front of Valentino shop there. I went to the shop for fitting, that bow design. I liked it. I thought it was fun(?), cute and elegant. I also wanted to check which one my team prefer because they have to design the hair, makeup, and total look. If we can agree on this, then this is it. It’s the one everyone saw me wear at the met gala. The adjustments to fit me is made right there and then. Got dressed then got on the car. Was super excited. When I came downstairs, before get on the car…. Everyone (all were waiting for the car) was so stunning. On the car… then waited for the walk. Really excited… will it be like Cannes? What will it be like. And it was nothing like Cannes. Got of the car, took a deep breath, the. LETS GO. Then walk. When got back to the hotel, whewwww. It was way beyond anything I’d never imagined/expected. Did that really happened? After the event, when walked out, rose walked right next to me. I turned to her and was shocked. What to do? I complemented her ….. she was like thank you, so sweet… I wanted to drop to the ground right then and there. Was still jet lagged, very sleepy, but had to fight through it. It was another very memorable and fun experience.

I love it when rude customers get humbled. She was being all disrespectful about it until her card got declined. Going to a store with only $20 on your card while I try to buy $150 worth of things isn’t anything I would ever do, it’s embarrassing to thing people even do this and worst yet get rude about it. I’ve dealt with arrogant customers before and they talk themselves up and try to belittle me to make themselves feel good about themselves. At the insurance company I had a woman call in about repairs to her car, she claimed the car was stolen and wrecked. I start getting details of what happened all the while she was whining and complaining about the repair process, complaining about why it’s taking so long to have the car inspected and such. I tried to tell her it was because I was waiting on necessary paperwork like the police report. Turns out she never filed a police report for this single car accident because the person who took the car and wrecked it was her own son. She wanted it filed under a stolen car because it was a comprehensive coverage claim with only a $100 deductible. A collision claim which this was, carries a $1000 deductible that she didn’t have. I tried to explain that that to her and she got belligerent saying that if I had kids I would understand. I told her that has nothing to do with it and what happened was her son drove the car into a tree which is a collision loss. A theft claim only applies if the police were notified and made a report, also she would have to press charges against him for actual theft as well. She was mad because I humbled her, I’m not stupid I knew what happened. I even saw on her policy how he got a few tickets and she removed him as a driver because her rates went up and since he was an excluded driver I wouldn’t be paying for her damages anyways and she hung up on me.

I am sure it may vary by area but I never heard of a law that states your car has to have a license plate on it at all times even when being parked. A group of friends took off the license plate of their car to take pictures. Some cops came by and cited them for it. I don’t think everyone knows about this law, so if I’m say waxing my car and want to take the plate off so I can get to areas around it better, an officer can come by and cite me for it? I know I don’t have to have a front plate anymore and even when I started driving years ago I never kept a front plate on it and only got warnings for it. Tesla unsupervised Robotaxi hitting and going through bollards. Is this the first recorded instance of an unsupervised robotaxi hitting an object? It was supposed to go around it. I’ve had a critical disengagement once here too with my car. Holy shit wasn’t expecting it to just go through. Luckily there was no damage to the bollards or the car. People have run them over too in front of me but wasn’t expecting the robotaxi to do it. Will this be in the NHTSA report?? I don’t think this can be considered an “accident”

I’ve had a critical disengagement once here too with my car. Holy shit wasn’t expecting it to just go through. Luckily there was no damage to the bollards or the car. People have run them over too in front of me but wasn’t expecting the robotaxi to do it. Will this be in the NHTSA report?? I don’t think this can be considered an “accident”

When I was traveling to NC I bought a window seat because I wanted to enjoy the scenery, it was slightly more expensive than a normal seat. When I got boarded, I went to my tow and I looked at my seat and there was a kid sitting there. I was confused because this was the seat I paid for, I had no idea who the kid was and why they were in my seat. A woman came up and handed some snacks to the kid and then sat down at the seat next to the kid and I asked her if they were in the right seat and she said yes. I said the window seat was mine and showed the ticket. She said well her daughter wanted to sit there, I said well if she did you should have paid for it because I did. She asked if I had kids and I said no, and she said well when you do you will appreciate it because things like this will keep them quiet during the flight. Once again I said that’s fine but I paid for this for a reason, you should have planned ahead. I ended up having to get an attendant who made them move, but the woman wasn’t quiet about it she started calling me selfish and what kind of person would take stuff away from a kid. I said the kind of person that paid for the things they feel entitled to. I did end up feeling bad about it later but it wasn’t really my problem, I didn’t want to be emotionally blackmailed because she didn’t want to pay more money for that set. This woman moved seats on her own and was told she would be booted if she didn’t sit in her assigned seat. I’m sure there is a reason behind this, I think I read an article once that said it was due to weight and such. Would you move though? It doesn’t seem like much of a big deal to me.

This woman was denied entry into a restaurant because they claimed to be full yet others were walking in. After she caught them letting others in she was told it would be a $5 fee. But the other people weren’t charged the same fee. The restaurant was having a World Cup event and was charging a $5 fee for people to enter. The people she saw walking in was part of another group that already paid. However she didn’t know that and there was no way for her to know that, so she drew her own conclusions on why she wasn’t allowed in. Just like in my last post, it would avoid so much confusion and drama if these establishments just posted a simple sign, otherwise it can be easy to jump to a wrong conclusion as to why people can’t get in but others can. There was a time I had tried to get into my local pool and the same thing happened. I wasn’t allowed in and others were walking in no problems at all. I sat there and wondered why, it’s not like they showed ID, there didn’t seem to be a list of names or anything and this place goes by membership which I have a membership for. So what other reason could it be to deny me? The pool also has a gym and a banquet room where people can reserve for events for a fee. Normally they have signage as for the event and who it was for but this day I didn’t see anything indicating any event would be taking place. I did end up leaving. The following week I went to work out and I did speak to a manager to see what the happened. It turned out the pool area was closed due to an accident. Someone slipped and fell, so that’s why I wasn’t allowed into the pool area. Others were walking in to use the other facilities that the location offers. So it was a reasonable reason but all it took was for someone to give an explanation and it could have saved much headache. I feel when an establishment is in business for the public that they owe us an explanation otherwise it turns into a huge headache for them.
