But young innovators like Victoria Francis are changing that, starting from the streets of Akwa Ibom. Through Plastic Cultured, she and her team are turning collected waste into fuel, mattresses and plastic bins. Thanks to the Young Africa Innovates Programme, Victoria now has the support, mentorship and tools to scale her idea and push for a zero plastic waste culture across Nigeria. Happy World Environment Day from Indian Railways ☘️ Cleaning staff caught throwing garbage on the tracks from a running train. When asked, the staff member said they did not have plastic bags to collect the waste. Imagine being paid to keep the country clean but making it dirtier instead. Meanwhile, Ministry of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw and IRCTC are just enjoying the show. Train is 22353, and all the waste was thrown outside the train after Nagpur. I'm sure the officials will ask for details and then do nothing, because who cares? :)

This is the reality and not propaganda as they keep saying. This is a school in Eha Amufu, Enugu State. Look at the environment and how stinking it’s looking. Why can’t our classrooms look like our governors office? Fulani headsmen have driven most children and teachers from coming to school. Today, I signed an Executive Order indicating Nebraska’s intent to opt-into the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit, which was signed into law by President Donald J. Trump as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill. When it comes to educating our kids, we need to ensure that every student is in an environment that allows them to succeed. This program will provide that opportunity and pave the way for new school choice opportunities beginning in 2027.
