this would absolutely be worth delaying the next zombies map for imo super important to make sure it's clear to activision that the zombs community want the devs to be supported to the fullest extent here. map release timing is simply lower priority (excerpt from today's vid)

I hope all those affected are ok, but why would they launch Dlc 2 in 18 days? Is that like an example because we just got dlc 1 a month ago?

They are not dropping the map during season 2, I can almost guarantee. Season 2s zombies content will likely be that leaked event referencing 115 which will be across all of call of duty.

The fact that there are a fair amount of people that don’t have fair amount of common sense and empathy for any of the devs affected in this fire is kind fascinating to see, I understand that not all are affected but show some empathy for those who might be.
