This wreck was so hard, the frame cracked. 😳

Frame is designed to crack due to driver requests per @dennyhamlin on his pod

Build cup chassis for 20 years, have seen 100s of cracked chassis. Not a huge deal.

I’m surprised NASCAR didn’t take it to R&D to study it to help learn more in terms of safety and how it reacted as a result of the accident. It was measured the hardest impact of the Next Gen car

I can't 100% recall, and I'm traveling at the moment, but wasn't this accident just like the one that killed Dale Earnhardt? When I saw it happen, I immediately said "oh no".

why are people suprised about a cracked frame? it legit just cracked and the solderjoint. shrug me sideways lol

Imagine what it would look like without the safer barrier there. The damage to the safer barrier alone tells a person this was a massive hit.
