It breaks my heart to see that. Last i heard they said he didn't remember being an actor. My Mom had Lewy Body's and it's horrible to watch, the decline is very fast. Having taken care of someone with this disease I can personally tell you there is nothing worse, nothing.

@catkisser13 A friend of mine died of frontaltemporaldementia. He was only 53. It was agonizing for everyone to watch. I see Bruce's face and see the same sweet but almost blank stare that Bruce had. We lost our friend in 24 💔

He hasn't passed yet. In an industry filled with liberals, Bruce stands head and shoulders above them all. Thank you for all the great movies, Bruce!

@Ollia_ll they are planning to stop feeding him. to stop nourishing his body. they will pump him full of pain killers and let him waste away. this is how hospice for these types of patients works. it is inhumane and it shows a complete disregard for human life. i have seen this play out.

@Sassafrass_84 @Ollia_ll When my MIL started hospice the nurse was explaining all of her medication (there was a lot) she said to us “they will not be doing a autopsy so you can give them as you want” I couldn’t believe what she said. 🤬

@monsterwhite512 @Sassafrass_84 My husband passed at 2AM in a hospice facility, with me sitting beside him. I sat there until 7:00 AM with no one checking in. I went to the nurses station to inform them. The corner came and stated his death at 7:30 AM. It was a lie.

@monsterwhite512 @Sassafrass_84 Hospital is better than hospice. Hospitals keep you comfortable. Hospice starves you to death.

@JenniferBlumbe6 @monsterwhite512 @Sassafrass_84 In the process of active dying, digestion is the first to shut down in the body. It’s not about starving the patient. It’s about not forcing someone who’s got a few days left to live as the body moved to dying phase.

@JenniferBlumbe6 @monsterwhite512 @Sassafrass_84 Oh honey, my husband would wake up and ask for food. They didn’t feed him, but they perforated his bladder with a catheter, and that did the job in 12 hours.

I have friend who is currently losing the battle with dementia, docs give him less than a year. He's an electrical engineer that can no longer change a light bulb, it's brutal to watch the progression of this disease😢

I remember when Demi was pregnant with Rumor and Bruce was filming. They were in Kentucky. She was just around town, quietly going unnoticed. Great couple.

Before Glen Campbell passed away, he wrote this song. It's haunting but if you listen to the words, it's so sad but so very true.

17 years ago my dad passed away having been initially diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. We decided as a family that when my dad passed that we would donate his brain hoping that it would help others not have to go through what we went through. When they autopsied his brain they actually found out that he had Lewy Body Dementia, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. Dementias are the worst.

I have loved him since 1985 when the TV series "Moonlighting" came on. So sad. You just never know what the future holds. What a wonderful family he has. I'm bawling now.

Bruce Willis is literally my favorite actor of all time. This one really hurts, this dude was a legit hero! Good guy, good father and a straight bad ass! My favorite movie of all time is the fifth element. This man is a legend! It's hard to believe he's in his last days. 🫡

Yes, this is a horrible disease for not only the patient, but the family. It is so sad and no one can realize the true horror of it unless you've lived with it. I have three times... my grandfather, my mother and my brother. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. The tears never stop.

I'd love to know who put this together. You notice all of the pictures are ones his daughters have posted on IG and there's not ONE picture of his current wife or their two children. Emma, not Demi, is the one doing all the work taking care of him.

He has Frontal lobe Dementia which is the one of the most cruel forms, IMO. There is no cure and he has been suffering for a long time now. I pray he is at the end as someone who has a family member with dementia. What Emma has done is remarkable and I wish the family peace and strength. I hope Bruce gets peace, he deserves it because this disease is just horrible and no one should suffer a day with it much less years.

How wonderful it will be to see him standing on the right when the kingdom of this world becomes the kingdom of our Lord and His Christ, Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. ✝️

It’s soooo hard seeing someone you’ve admired in some way your entire life go through a slow mental and physical deterioration like this. I can’t imagine how hard it is for his family. The beginning of this month marked two years since a childhood hero of mine passed away from frontotemporal dementia. His name was Ron Hamilton, and he was/is really well known mostly in Independent Baptist churches (my dad was an IB pastor when I was growing up). He had a massive Christian music ministry and he wrote and composed hundreds of worship songs and children’s songs, dozens of children’s musical stage productions, and dozens of church choir Christmas and Easter cantatas. If you search for Ron Hamilton, the Hamilton Family, or Majesty Music in YouTube it will pull up a bunch of his recordings. I followed his wife on social media during the final stages of his life. It was both touching and heartbreaking, just like watching Bruce with his family in his final days.
