The rider was taking a trip from Yorba Linda to Santa Ana at around 3:30 AM when they noticed the driver was apparently asleep behind the wheel. The driver was allegedly using the Tesla Full Self-Driving feature, which requires you to still stay attentive to the road.

We only got a report of Dadiyata’s existence after his family reported to the police that he was abducted. Three days after Dadiyata’s abduction, a policeman posted from Kano to Ekiti confessed to someone that they were sent from Kano and abducted Dadiyata, and felt bad about it. The driver of the Climax Coaches bus involved in the road accident that claimed the life of former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo has been identified as Tirus Kamau Githinji, a long-serving driver with Climax Coaches who has worked for the company for about eight years. According to his account, the crash occurred early on December 13, 2025, around 3:00 a.m. on the Nairobi–Nakuru Highway at Karai, Naivasha. He was driving a bus carrying 65 passengers from Nairobi to Busia when a vehicle driven by Hon. Cyrus Jirongo entered the highway from a petrol station and collided head-on with his bus after failing to give way. Kamau said he tried to avoid the collision but believed swerving could have caused his bus to overturn and endanger all aboard, so he braked and absorbed the impact. He only learned that the other driver was Cyrus Jirongo after police arrived at the scene. He gave his side of the story and apologised. May Hon. Jirongo rest in peace.

A taxi driver who caused the death of a man on the A23 in Surrey after driving for prolonged periods has been jailed for six years. Footage from Kolawole Erunkulu’s car captured the moment he fell asleep at the wheel in Merstham, shortly before 6.30am on Sunday, 17 August. Erunkulu was charged with causing death by dangerous driving in March 2026 and pleaded guilty at court in June. At Guildford Crown Court, he was sentenced to six years in prison for causing death by dangerous driving. He was also disqualified from driving for eight years, to run concurrently with his prison sentence. Erunkulu’s Audi swerved across the carriageway before colliding with a Volkswagen being driven by Philip Dray, who was parked at the side of the road. Data from Erunkulu’s employers, along with footage from the interior camera of his vehicle, showed that he had driven for around 53 hours during the three days leading up to the fatal collision. The case highlights the devastating consequences of driving while fatigued and the importance of taking adequate breaks when behind the wheel.

The truck he was driving, which had no chance of making it across that tight turn, ended up falling all the way down the mountain. Good thing there were no other drivers underneath! Even the construction worker at the top knew what was going to happen. People that dumb should not be allowed to have a drivers license… much less be behind the wheel of a large semi-truck!
