This young man does a great job explaining what a reciprocal tariff is. Take a listen and add a bookmark for yourself.

You would think that the word "reciprocal" would be explanation enough.

Some need a visual 😊

@Sassafrass_84 It's literally in the name. RECIPROCAL tax! The left changes definitions all the time so I understand their difficulty. They're also retarded.

@Sassafrass_84 Exactly Christine.

🤔Some people should take the time to look up the word if they don’t know the meaning. 😉

Exactly Dixie.

@Denimooreb She certainly understood it then.

He missed the key point that a lot of people get confused on. If China puts a $6000 tariff on those cars then the importer pays that to the Chinese government and passes the expense on the the Chinese consumer. Tariffs are a strategic measure to ensure your own industries and workers have a competitive advantage against being undercut by foreign products. They are also useful to ensure something like your dairy or agricultural industries aren’t wiped out by a cheaper alternative leaving your with a national security risk. Reciprocating on tariffs is like punching yourself in the face to hurt the other guy because you feel entitled to sell to their market.

@pr0ud_americans Thank you.

The youth are truly discovering the power of understanding trade dynamics!

This is great to see Jason.

This would be great if this is what Trump was doing. Problem is, he is misleading us. A lot the tariffs imposed are NOT reciprocal. They are based on the trade deficits with those countries. I like the China example, but the US also has safety regulation restrictions on autos that the Chinese and Europe doesn’t have. So we are actually doing exactly what we are accusing others of doing. To be clear I completely agree with true reciprocal tariffs to move closer to “fair” trade.

A great job. How about getting the MSM to tell it right.

A nice, as he says, basic explanation. My only caveat is please, please, don't refer to tariffs as "a tax". They aren't and it plays into the gaslighting by so called "free trade" advocates, globalists, and just plain disingenuous people.

@ROCKON697753242 Good job

Excellent job.

Reciprocal Tariff is simply a fair and balanced business exchanges for the import and export of the domestic and foreign products. It should’ve be been done decades ago

@ROCKON697753242 Excellent post. Thank you 🙏

It’s as simple as that! Reciprocal

💯 Of course the price of goods will increase, the price of foreign goods, that is the incentive to buy the cheaper American product.

@Sassafrass_84 Pretty basic for all those crybabies out there!!!!!!

Where's part 2? Would also be nice if he took a moment to discuss the trade deficit aspect before recip tariffs are applied.

@ColbergKatie All the economists and politicians against reciprocal tariffs never answer the one question I have. What is your leverage in negotiating with the foreign country to reduce or eliminate their tariffs goods they are importing from the U.S.?

This is absolute nonsense.

Awesome. Thank you.

Wow! He gets it and in simple terms so even MAGA rapist cult fuxtards can understand. Bit Carrie don't understand is that salaries in China lower than US, therefore a $10k China made car is equivalent to a $16k US made car Liberty Day success! Enjoy your 401k

Such a waste of time ....

This obviously works out in favor of the US because China exports more cars to US than we do to China.

Where is part 2?

True, but china will be hardest to tame. With ecommerce, warehouses here, they have an open road around tarriffs. Then also, okay say they decide to move production here. This multiplies multiple issues. will they be required to hire Americans, or just hire their own like most chinese restaurants? if they build factories here, adds to polution. if dems get control back in near future, the communist takeover be even harder to stop. if they flood us with their businesses, it be just as bad as it's been. We can't compete with their base pricing or their shipping rates, domesticaly or internationally. For this we always been at a disadvantage thanks to a now obsolete UN group that gave them the special rate difeence because of WW2. and there is no way to change this. Lastly, they make 'fake' parts for almost everything. I can rebuild a broken phone for pennies on the dollar.

Where’s his second vid?

@Sassafrass_84 Where is part 2? I’m interested to hear that too

💯😃👍

Here’s what could get more expensive with Trump’s new tariffs.
