It’s like y’all hear something totally different all the time. She’s not saying to refrain because of that “move in silence” bullshit y’all speak. It’s simply to allow yourself time to execute uninterrupted, with you, your drive and your idea. What the fuck did y’all hear like??

I'm so glad she highlighted it becomes an ego problem instead of the evil eye thing we always hear

I agree whole heartedly. I get ideas alot now I tell no one and just do the work. I had 3 ideas in my teens & I told them to friends & family. They said no one would pay for that.. the govt controls that. Years later the some ideas are multi million dollar companies now.🙄

THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR IDEAS CONFIDENTIAL Maintaining the confidentiality of your ideas is crucial for several reasons. In today's highly competitive and fast-paced world, where innovation drives success, safeguarding your intellectual property can make a significant difference in achieving your goals. Here are some key points to consider: (1) Prevent Idea Theft: By keeping your ideas confidential, you minimise the risk of someone else stealing or copying them before you have a chance to develop and implement them yourself. This ensures that you retain control over your unique concepts and maintain a competitive advantage. (2) Maintain Competitive Edge: Sharing your idea prematurely may lead to others capitalising on it faster than you can, potentially diluting its impact or market potential. By keeping it under wraps until you're ready to launch or protect it legally, you increase the likelihood of maintaining a strong competitive edge. (3) Foster Innovation: When ideas are kept confidential within an organisation or among trusted individuals, it encourages an environment where creativity thrives without fear of judgment or premature exposure. This allows for more open brainstorming sessions and collaborative efforts that can lead to groundbreaking innovations. (4) Secure Investment Opportunities: Investors often require assurance that their investment will be protected and not easily replicated by competitors. Demonstrating a commitment to confidentiality enhances trust with potential investors, increasing the likelihood of securing funding for further development and growth. (5) Legal Protection: In many jurisdictions, disclosing an idea publicly before obtaining proper legal protection may jeopardise its eligibility for patents or copyrights. Maintaining confidentiality until appropriate legal measures are in place safeguards your rights as an innovator. (6) Avoid Unwanted Criticism: Prematurely sharing ideas with others who might not fully understand their potential can result in discouragement or negative feedback that could hinder progress or dampen enthusiasm towards pursuing them further. (7) Strategic Timing: Keeping your ideas confidential allows you to strategically time their release, aligning with market trends or specific business objectives. This enables you to maximise impact and capitalise on opportunities when the timing is most favourable. Maintaining confidentiality around your ideas is essential for protecting your intellectual property, fostering innovation, securing investment opportunities, and maximising success. By keeping your ideas under wraps until the appropriate time and legal protection are in place, you increase the chances of achieving your goals while minimising risks associated with idea theft or premature exposure. #Idea #IdeaTheft #Confidentiality #Protection #Security #Safety #Trademark #PersonalSafety #TrademarkSafety #IdeaProtection #InnovationSecurity #IntellectualProperty #Patents #Copyrights #ConfidentialityMatters

I’ve learned this the hard way and I don’t say anything to anybody. People will criticize you and not be doing anything themselves or too afraid to start so you keep it pushing until that thing is ready.

I absolutely cannot stand dream crushers. I truly despise anyone who tries to discourage others from taking a chance on their dreams or ideas. It is honestly best to not tell family or friends, just make it happen with people who will help.
