This... Is... INDYCAR RACING!

This and NASCAR was revolutionary. I still say these games are better then most of their console counterparts afterward.

Oh yes 😎

Fatal Racing

Who is Mixer.

👌🏼

I had to turn textures off to get a decent frame rate on my 386sx25.

"I'm Paul Paige"

Spent way too many hours playing that game 😅 It was superb at the time.

😎

@petrip Ha, this is exactly what I came here for. The aim was to tune your car to get as fast you could into the pack from the wrong side. Endlessly watching the crash replays

@petrip

Loved Papyrus. Didn’t they do NASCAR too?

yup

I had that game!!!! It had that copyright protection where it asked for a word on a certain page from the manual. 😅

Way before we were all gamers and it was in fashion, I learnt how to set up a Race Car with this game and the huge booklet it brings with it. I can't say how many hours did I put on this thing, but thousands probably. Photos of my own copy, taken by myself right now

🍻

Lo fotografié para ponerlo en venta hace unos días ❤️🏁

Long Beach was legendary!

The good o’l days

Aye

Gran juego. Adelantado a su época.

This was great back in the day. Way more approachable than MicroProse’s F1.

Bringing back fond memories. I had that game as a kid.

I last bought a PC Formula 1 racing game about 20 years ago. The other day my nephew showed me his PS5 with the *current* game and I swear it hardly looked any better!

Really love this graphic as 8-bit on DOS.

Heard the words "I'm Paul Page" in my head in micro seconds 🤍 @HacklinPekka

I completely forgot about this game. Played it so much

🫡

ah man, i remember this... somehow the graphics looked less pixelly in my memory =)

@RacinSam I can remember in the 1990s during a Grand Prix weekend in a wet practice session and F1 driver Ruben’s Barichello was playing this on a computer in the garage keeping dry.

I had that Indy car dialed for IMS.. the rest, not so much. :)

Paul Page’s brother was my workout partner for a summer. Nice guy.

I remember playing this on the school computer. I just did the oval track, turned around at the start and drive head-on with the lead car and cause massive crashes and pileups. Good fun!

😈

Ah yes I remember this game

My favorite when I was 10

Love this game!

Get the extra software to change the livery of the cars… design them to match the season…
