Deported sex offender Hadush Kebatu has claimed in an interview with Sky News that he tried to hand himself in to police, but was ignored by officers. He was arrested by the Met Police following a manhunt after being mistakenly released from prison. The convicted sex offender was repeatedly questioned on his crimes but Sky News has chosen not to broadcast this part of the interview.

Tom Evenstad, who is currently campaigning for governor of Minnesota, was met with a less-than-warm reception outside the Warren E. Burger Federal Building during a rally supporting the 15 people recently indicted in connection with Operation Metro Surge. Evenstad, who was convicted of raping an 18-year-old woman and later pleaded guilty to stalking multiple people connected to that case, spent part of the event filming protesters. Many in the crowd recognized him and responded with horns, chants, and cameras of their own, making it clear they did not want him in the space. After the event, Evenstad emailed Mercado Media threatening legal action over coverage and criticism.
