I was proud when we passed the Lindsey Graham Russian sanctions bill with 85 or 86 votes. But there are other times when the Senate is like high school, but no one ever graduates. We blow opportunities like it’s our job. I was very disappointed that we did not vote on the House budget resolution to start the reconciliation process, hopefully leading to more money for our military and passage of the SAVE Act. And this would not have been a vote to actually pass those things. It would have just been a vote to allow us to try.”

It is unfortunate that when they were buying oil at lower prices, the benefit was not passed on to the consumers. It was hoarded by the oil companies and the Government of India. Now when we are seeing a crisis like situation, instead of cushioning the problem being faced, they have gone on to increase the price. GoI should rollback this hike
