At a recent campaign event with Rand Paul, Thomas Massie was interviewed by WLKY. The segment got to the part where the reporter mentions that President Trump endorsed Ed Gallrein to primary Massie, who said: "Obviously, I'd prefer to have the President's endorsement, but I'm endorsed by the pro-life & pro-gun groups here in Kentucky." At the end, a visibly nervous Rand Paul said, "I think the people Kentucky ought to consider they're lucky to have Thomas Massie", then quickly looked down with pursed & off to the side, which is a classic sign that he is not confident in Massie's ability to win.
