Thomas Massie just declared: “Americans are under attack.” Monsanto is “attacking our executive branch, our legislative branch at the state level, our legislative branch here in Washington, and the courts.” “They want get-out-of-court free cards.” “My colleague, Chellie Pingree and I … have offered legislation called the No Immunity...

“We have to fight like hell.” “No Republican or Democrat can tell you they support MAHA if they vote for chemicals.” Democrat Rep. Chellie Pingree just partnered with Thomas Massie to block Congress from giving Monsanto immunity to mass poison Americans with glyphosate. “Bayer is spending millions of dollars lobbying Congress.” “They care about their corporate bottom line, and that is it.” “If their product makes you sick, they don’t want to pay up and they don’t want to take responsibility.” “They have the money, but we have the people.” “Bayer is back, this time with the full-throated support of the Trump administration at the Supreme Court.” “This administration unfortunately has supported this appeal at the Supreme Court.” “And right now, the other fight we’re in today is that Bayer got Republicans to jam this liability shield into the farm.” “This should not be a partisan issue.” “I have been an organic farmer in Maine since the 1970s.” “No one can tell me or the other farmers here today that we can’t grow food without all of these toxic chemicals.” “Today … the [House] Rules Committee will decide whether the Amendment I co-sponsor with Rep. Massie … will even be allowed for a vote on the house floor.” “It takes the Bayer immunity language out of the Farm Bill, and it lets state and local governments decide how pesticides are used in their community.” “Any Farm Bill that protects chemical companies over American farm families is not pro-farmer.” “It’s not pro-health.” “It’s not pro-America.” “It’s a giveaway to Big Chemical.” Congresswoman Chellie Pingree Thomas Massie Thomas Massie for Congress

Thomas Massie and Lauren Boebert just declared war on the mass surveillance state. “FISA 702 is just the tip of the iceberg … ” “There have been so many erosions of our Fourth Amendment right to privacy.” “The Bank Secrecy Act, the Right to Financial Privacy Act, the Patriot Act … all of them created so-called loopholes in the Constitution.” “The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act … is used to go after Americans.” “I’ve been in a SCIF last week where I saw two secret rulings … of how the government has created additional loopholes to spy on you that I’m not even allowed to tell you.” “And finally, the third-party doctrine.” “It’s based on a ruling of the Supreme Court … I think it was a bad ruling, but it’s been expanded in its interpretation to include things like doctor’s appointment records, bank records, phone records … Flock cameras.” “Imagine … that you turn AI loose on these databases.” “Now, there’s virtually nothing the government can’t know about you without a warrant.” “That is why we’ve created … the Surveillance Accountability Act.” “It closes these loopholes that I’ve explained.” “And more importantly, it creates a private right of action.” “It’s almost impossible to sue federal government employees if they infringe on your constitutional rights.” “The second half of this bill gives you the right to sue the government employee.” “If they infringe on your constitutional rights, they could be privately and personally sued for that.” Thomas Massie Thomas Massie for Congress Lauren Boebert

Thomas Massie blocked a plan to give AI data centers immunity from local and state laws. Twice. And he blocked a plan to give pesticide companies immunity to mass poison Americans. “It’s cronyism.” “The first version of the Big Bill had a provision that would let data centers ignore state laws.” “And not just state laws, but local zoning laws.” “Marjorie Taylor Greene and I fought to get that taken out, and it was taken out, fortunately.” “That issue came up again recently in my Judiciary Committee.” “We were marking up eight bills one day in a work session, and I noticed that number six on the list was to exempt data centers from eight different environmental laws.” “They couldn’t be sued if they didn’t have the permits.” “Even though some of those environmental laws may be onerous, I don’t know why you would give an exemption to data centers, but not to the farmers or other industries.” “So I tweeted about it, in real time, blew the whistle, and they decided to take it off of the schedule that day.” “I have obstructed things like special privileges and immunities for data centers.” “And most recently in the Farm Bill, they had a provision that was gonna give special privileges and immunities … to Monsanto-Bayer, which makes glyphosate.” “They said, we’ll give every pesticide immunity from all state labeling laws.” “Myself and some other colleagues worked hard, we drafted amendments.” “We forced it to a vote on the floor of the House and took that special provision … removed from the Farm Bill.” “And I did vote for the Farm Bill because it has my signature piece of legislation in it, which is a bill to make it easier for farmers to use a local processor and sell their beef, pork, and lamb directly to consumers.” This is why the deep state is desperately trying to oust him from Congress right now. And it’s why he needs the people to rally behind him now more than ever. Thomas Massie Thomas Massie for Congress
