@delilah1378510 He is an idiot not understanding the different cultures of the different countries - most of which were melting pots. Iran is Persian, they been for thousands of years, much more homogeneous that other countries in the region. They just need a chance and get liberated.

Two things can be true at the same time: We can acknowledge the brutal reality of the Iranian regime and their murdering of protesters. And we can also know for sure that a forever war will not resolve that issue. We’ve seen what’s happened in other areas in the Middle East — in Libya, in Syria, and beyond. He said Libya was a disaster. He ran because a big part of the MAGA base did not want another war in the Middle East. They rejected Lindsey Graham, and yet here we have Lindsey Graham being the face of Republican foreign policy. I believe this is a betrayal of a decent chunk of the MAGA base.

Regime change is not our decision. We learned that the hard way in Iraq and Afghanistan - I fought in both of those wars. We ended up there for a long time in a war we didn’t understand. Regime change can only come from one place: the people of Iran. But let’s be clear - we may not be at war with Iran, but they are at war with us. I support Israel’s strikes fully and hope they are successful in debilitating Iran’s military.

We were pushing in a direction not to spark this war from the start, because Iran is a state that has a population of about 85 million people, and any harm that hits Iran from the inside could affect the region in general.
