Then there was the Israelites (the people who followed the laws of Moses). The Old Testament of Torah was the core authority. These people (the Israelites) conflicted extensively with the Pharisees who used sacrifices, invocations and other things against the laws of the Torah. So, the Christian faith is not a creation of the "Jews" by any stretch. This is a perversion and misinterpretation of the scripture. You're welcome.
