I saw a teacher writing to read Kalma and Sucralfate. That is absolutely wrong... If you are giving education, just do that. Students from different religions, different aspects are coming to get the education. They're coming for quality education... Kalma and Sucralfate is not a part of the subject, it is a religious book. Do not mix it up. If you want to make it a subject, please put Bhagavad Gita, Bible as a subject... I am really thankful to the school management because they have taken the strict action on this. We have seen the diary and we have raised our voice. I don't know in how many diaries and how many students this has been going..."

Today we met with Trump’s Secretary of Education to talk about their “restructuring” of education—as millions of students, teachers, and parents are afraid of what comes next. What’s their plan? They don’t seem to have one. Yet, they are firing thousands of employees and talking about handing it over to the states. Sec. McMahon came out just in time to hear us say it again. Thank you for meeting with us Madam Secretary, but we must protect our kids!

I raised my concerns today regarding free speech on our university campuses. 🏛️ Whether it's Zionist views, gender-critical perspectives or climate scepticism, there is a demonstrable two-tier approach to free speech playing out across our higher education institutions and it is students who are bearing the brunt of it. The Higher Education Freedom of Speech Act was passed precisely to give students the right to bring complaints to the Office for Students. I posed this to the Minister today and I do not believe his response was correct. It is, after all, called the Office for Students, not the Office for Everyone on Campus Except Students. The Free Speech Union

Out of 1000 students in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦, over 800 of them left the country without the government knowing. Our embassy over there has no record of them. And guess what those 800 people are studying? Poverty is the biggest curse inflicted upon humanity. Samdish recently visited a remote government middle school in Jharkhand. Talking about the students, the teachers said that 70% of the students live alone because their parents are working in factories in Tamil Nadu. These students cook for themselves, take care of their cattle, and then go to school. Just to earn ₹20,000 a month, their parents have to leave their children at home and work in factories thousands of kilometres away. The teachers have to take care of these children whenever they are in need. If a child doesn't come to school for two consecutive days, the teachers visit their home to find out whether they are safe and well. And what is a teacher's salary? Even after having 20 years of experience, they earn just ₹20,000 a month, and even that salary is often delayed by the government. No matter how much noise we make about becoming a $5 trillion economy, the fact remains that millions of people are still struggling today to earn a mere ₹10,000–₹20,000 a month.
