All the animosity between the elves and the orcs comes from the fact that elves only sing poetic ballads and orcs prefer jazzy musical numbers.

An entire song arising from one line in the book ("Where there's a whip, there's a WILL" IIRC). Anybody else get the idea that the orcs in that version were just punch clock villains?

I was *just* thinking about this song last night. I’d forgotten the 70s percussion and background.

I love how one of the orcs is just Beetle Bailey.
