Those quick to attack the UAE on our energy credentials should remember that we are an investor in all forms of energy. We have always led by example, with a strong track record investing in renewables though Masdar, scaling up hydrogen and investing significantly in new technologies. #COP28 #كوب_28 #COP28UAE

We are proud to be supporting #Azerbaijan’s goal to generate 30 percent of its energy from renewables by 2030. Today, we celebrate a big step towards making that vision a reality by breaking ground on three new renewable projects that are part of Masdar’s 10GW pipeline in the country. The #UAE and Masdar are committed to a green partnership with Azerbaijan, working with the government and local communities to deliver clean energy and investment. Together, we are #PioneeringEnergy.

We have the highest energy bills in the G7 because we're dependent on natural gas. So yes, we're investing in solar, wind, and nuclear to get those prices down. And yes we're investing to upgrade the grid too.

This is the message Alberta is bringing to the world at COP28 👇 Alberta is an innovation hub, attracting sustainable investments with low operating costs and a skilled workforce. We are leading in clean energy technology, with hydrogen production, and waste-to-energy, while being committed to a carbon-neutral economy. Those are just some of the reasons why the world should invest right here in Alberta.

Scotland has vast energy resources and some of the most skilled workers in the world. Today, we're investing in our Just Transition Fund to create hundreds of new jobs in the North East. And with independence, we could put Scotland's energy future in Scotland's hands.

What do people think of this interview? - "We have been doing software investing for 25 years, and investing in detail, not investing in stocks" (lol) - "We have never marked our companies to public comps, we are fundamental investors investors that mark our companies on EBITDA" - "Public markets have gone from 22x to 17x, and we can earn excellent returns at those exit levels" - "I cannot comment on other people marks, we have here with us literally 100% of the large pension funds and all the sovereign wealth funds. They have seen our marks and everyone is comfortable"

The world needs a strong Europe, and we are working to deliver it, keeping European values at the core. Spain’s push on renewables is a good example: drawing investment, global leadership in green projects, and lower energy costs through greater energy sovereignty.

Data centers and AI are driving enormous energy demand, and Florida has to be prepared for it. If we’re going to support growth, innovation, and emerging technologies, we need reliable energy on demand. It has to be available now, not years after the infrastructure is built. Florida must stay ahead by investing in resilient, dependable power generation that protects our economy, our grid, and our quality of life. #JayForFlorida

We delivered world first after world first. A global goal to triple renewables and double energy efficiency. Declarations on agriculture, food and health. More oil and gas companies stepping up for the first time on methane and emissions. And we have language on fossil fuels in our final agreement. #DrSultanAlJaber #COP28
