He has confirmed to the world that he bribed MPs and Senators to disregard the constitutional threshold and provisions for the impeachment of H. E Rigathi Gachagua Gachagua. The Provisions, Kenya’s Constitution, under Articles 144 and 145 (as applied to the Deputy President through Article 150(2)), sets clear thresholds for impeachment. Both Houses must meet specific legal and evidentiary requirements before removal. Bribing MPs and Senators to bypass these provisions rendered the process blatantly unconstitutional.
