I am a Paediatrician and I have encountered kids with childhood trauma. A few of them stemming from their parents using them for “jokes and pranks “ some of the children grew up low self esteem and confidence because of that.

Maybe? Did you see a single one of those children laughing? They’re all in a critical developmental age. Scaring a child triggers the body’s stress response and can lead to stress-related illnesses. You literally are spiking a child’s blood pressure which can lead to anxiety, ptsd, headaches, stomach aches, and a lack of appetite. Just because you startled a child and got over it does not mean the child is over it as quickly as you are. Doing this repeatedly can lead to serious cardiovascular issues. Stop posting crap and normalizing child abuse.
