Thoughts on Chinese 223 Ammo? Should I get some boxes for my range?

The problem with Chinese ammo is, you fore a bunch and then want to fire a bunch more within a half hour.

its corrosive, its not worth the time you're gonna spend cleaning or the damage to your rifle.

Did you get a few rounds and make sure they're in spec? I usually go through a box on a new brand and random pick 20 rounds to put the calipers to.

I have shot many many thousands of rounds of Chinese ammo in several calibers and other than being stinky and dirty I never really had any problems and I want to say other than maybe some Norinco 223 it was all steel case

They ready for hundreds of years later , if their kids need them

Prolly some burrs on the mouth and some flashing on the inside of the off center primer hole, but should good. Might be a little inconsistent but for plinking or emergencies, why not.

These are ancient ammo. Chinese PLA had turned to use steel casings. Unless you mean Taiwan Chinese ammo.
