Thoughts on cops being allowed to lie?

If citizens can’t lie to cops, cops shouldn’t be able to lie to citizens.

He’s gonna get out of that. Claim he said it under distress, thought he was gonna get evicted if he didn’t pay rent, something like that.

Never trust the Law.

They shouldn’t be able to lie…

This is so disgraceful

They should go straight to prison. Police are not held to a higher standard but they should be. They are public servants who have been given permissions that can ruin people’s lives. Simple as that.

Feels unconstitutional

In this case it was not the exception and they did what they are allowed to do. If you broke the law you don’t get to complain.
