Agreed. Not about race. But by your std, you should take the easy route & choose a blue blood program. Bird was great at Indiana State & took them to Magic/MSU. Not by your std tho. Be a very good player and choose Duke,NC, KY...you become "great". Hard pass on that path.

The problem with your take on “great” is that you completely ignore the context of basketball being a team sport. Case in point, you have a ring because Battier, Boozer, and Dunleavy actually showed up in 2001 against Arizona while you went 2-11 from 3 and kept turning it over
