Thoughts on Justin Fields….

@gmfb @nflnetwork Explain to me again how Justin “blew the Cleveland game?”

@gmfb @nflnetwork Agreed. Both is correct.

@gmfb @nflnetwork Well I guess if you're in a fight for your life with a gladiator but they tie 1 hand behind your back, and you end up dying because you could only hold a shield or a sword but not both, then you "blew it" because you somehow should have survived those ridiculous odds...got it 👍

@gmfb @nflnetwork Kyle, good take here but I do not fault Fields the Cleveland game. Several perfect passes ending in multiple drops. The Packers game had injuries at interior line missing two players and consistent rush. Fields COULD have been better. Agreed. But damn, if Flus stays, so should he

Shout out to Kyle for encouraging fans to be more nuanced. The world is not black or white. Situations are complex. Context matters. Timing matters too, and between Fields and the #Bears it was off from the start, but both sides tried to make things better, it was simply too inconsistent and too slow. If we didn’t have the number one overall pick the situation would have been different. Timing…

@gmfb @nflnetwork I still feel like the Bears have like no accountability for how bad the play calls were in year 3, he couldn’t just audible every play he got from Getsy 🤦🏽♂️ he was clearly setup to fail smh

@gmfb @nflnetwork You’re cooking Kyle

@gmfb @nflnetwork Sometimes saying nothing is better than saying nothing

@gmfb @nflnetwork Media is weird. Proceeds to list what Fields was playing with in year one and two but also proceeds to mention win loss record as if they don’t contribute to one another or if year 2 wasn’t an actual set back to his development versus a chance to improve.

@gmfb @nflnetwork I agree on Green Bay. I think that was the deciding factor. At the end of the day he was 0-6 vs our biggest rival. His team played bad too, but he could have played better. In Cleveland I don’t agree. The O didn’t make plays. They dropped passes all game and missed key blocks.
