Thoughts on Manager Casas wanting Raffy to stay at 3rd?

I think Casas is smart, knows what he’s doing, is simply trying to be a good teammate (veterans take precedence, Devers at 3B means that) And clearly he gives less f***s than ever about how he’s perceived by FO, after Breslow spent all offseason trying to ship him out of town 🤷🏻‍♂️

Can…he stop talking? This is just an unneeded distraction.

I think all Casas is trying to do is back his teammate. Now did he say too much and put down the rookies too? probably. But he’s also trying to be realistic. They’re good, but they still haven’t earned their spots yet. Vs the Red Sox are already giving them spots.

This is being blown out of proportion. 1. Bregman and Raffy are both professionals who love winning 2. Competition is always a good thing 3. I dont want Raffy to be a pushover I want a killer 4. The media loves some drama during slow news cycles.
