What is the purpose of the slide lock?

Is the switch for single shot?

@GLOCKInc make that thumb safety a G18 switch for @USSOCOM we want.

The safety ruins it. You know that thing is gonna slow you down when you need it most.

I like the slide lock to hold it closed on a suppressed shot. I also like the "wipe" type suppressor - throwback to the very first patented by Sir Hyram Maxim in 1909, but the wipe elements don't last long and must be replaced. Nice overall.
