Thoughts on the Ocarina of Time remake?

Did Tim miss the part where they said they only added them in to transition between major areas? That is such a non-issue.

The two second loading screens are such a non-issue, lol

I actually like the loading screens, it feels very core to classic Zelda to me. Having theee areas you enter and kinda have that “okay let’s figure this area out” mindset. I wouldn’t have hated a total open world but I don’t mind this even a little bit.

I absolutely can't wait to have a blast with this when it releases. The Ocarina of Time remake is everything I hope for.

Other than loading screens I think it's perfect. It they started to add too much it might take away from the flow. It's exactly what I wanted with the jpeg backgrounds being converted to 3d.

I would've liked lost woods style transitions, where you can't see anything beyond until you've physically moved though it.

Not only do I like the loading transitions, but I cheered when they announced them. And it's not like they are all there. You see Link enter the Kokiri Forest shop without any loading.

Kinda funny, more like kinda relevant.
