Thoughts on these comments by Steve Bruce? 🤔 #NUFC

My thoughts are that he should stick to talking about Manchester United instead of Newcastle United. That's his real love. That's his "we" & "us" club. He became a negative at the club because he was a terrible manager. Simple as. His style of football was tragic, his footballing mentality/ethos was dated & his tactical knowledge was non-existent. He jumped at the chance to manage Newcastle when he knew fine well that the job was too big. Especially under Mike Ashley. He chose to be the Yes Man under Ashley because deep down, he holds little or no affiliation to Newcastle. He plays this loveable, soft-spoken gent. But we all saw how sharp he was with journo's. He's a Harvey 2 face, and his mediocre managerial career was ended the day he took the Toon job.

Rewriting history. Pretty certain he referred to Eddie before as "the bloke who got Bournemouth relegated". Steve's throwing a pity party and we're all invited!!

I think he was a decent fella in an awful spot. Hard to know what's true what's not. Truth is tho he was way out of his depth as a manager in this age and that's tough to acknowledge. We all try to paint a picture that's kinder to us. Let him have it makes no difference.
