Thoughts on this bunting drill?

Yeah let’s just actually bunt the ball.

Like the concept. But not a fan because in order to catch the ball in the lacrosse stick Head you have to change your angle significantly. When you’re bunting, you have to maintain your angle and still have a touch.

Genius. Coaches always say catch the ball with your bat and they can with this exercise.

You’re supposed to “catch” the ball with your bat. Although bunting is a dying strategy, it’s a great drill! I like it!!

Exactly, “catch” the ball is the subtly of killing/deadening the ball. It is great drill to get the feel of “receiving” the ball, not “hitting” it.

I like it. The tendency to jab at the ball is strong and leads to poorer contact or too strong contact for a successful bunt.

Well ppl do use the expression…catch it w your bat. But I dunno about this…..
