Thoughts on wedding reception toasts…

I’m so glad I didn’t see this before I gave my best man speech. I did 15 minutes of stand up. With props.

Have you ever listened to this?

Filmed weddings for a summer. People want a toast under 2 minutes. All the guests are waiting to eat, drink, and party. Don’t make everyone wait because you’re working out material

Was a dual best man at a friends wedding. First guy rambled on for 8 mins and trashed everyone. I got the mic and said, “there isn’t much more to say that dude hasn’t already said, congrats” and that was it. Brought the place down.

Man I got to give a best man speech next week in Fiji and I had like a 5 min speech planned but I agree I want it short as hell but everyone else is saying different. Nah I’m keeping it short now.

Could not agree more. Lots of ppl jealous their bff is getting married and they get up there and make the toast all about themself like: “you’re stealing my girl away” and hate on the groom and it’s so cringe. No good at all. It’s #notyourday becky bridesmaid from hell! 🙅🏽
