It’s not that you don’t get married, it’s the fact that you don’t allow the state to sanction your marriage. You can get a lawyer, a ring and make your own contract; if we don’t work out you get this and that, and this is how we will conduct ourselves regarding children etc. Failure to adhere to the contract can have its written in clauses. Wtf we need the state for? Have a pastor swear you in before God and family. That’s it.
