Hinges are outside then and even if you put commercial door hinges ,on a residential house you could break those hinges off with a sledge hammer easily. Also if your door swung out , the weather would have access to a 1/8 gap all around your door. If you lived in cold weather that would not be good, condensation would freeze your door shut. If you got alot of snow overnight, you wouldn't be able to push your door open in the morning

If someone wants to get in your house the method if entry is irrelevant

Then hang a door that swings out . This isn’t rocket science.

I think it was designed like that for safety reasons. So that nothing can fall in front of it locking you in. If something falls blocking the door you can move it and open the door. The second one adds to what you were saying. In an emergency, fire or police can kick it in.

You dont want the hinges on the outside buddy, only takes a screwdriver and a hammer to take the pins out and remove the door in about 30 seconds if it was on the outside..
