It was crystal clear, that challenge after review by VAR was supposed be a straight red card, but it's England, FIFA's favourite. Football has been politicised to favour their own.

The VAR or rather officiating in general in this shamnof a world cup, is clearly scripted to go against African nations.

Did the players protest? I don't think they did. I think African players should protest more. The same with Bellingham speaking with his mouth covered...should have been a red, but the players were busy chumming up to him. Imagine that happened to an English player and the ref ignored it...the whole team would have been over him for a VAR review.

Not to award the penalty for Ghana was not a football decision but a fear of uproar and backlash from England media and fans. A small country vs a big country. First world vs third world country. David vs goliath. Had it been a Ghanaian player tackling England player like that, would have been a straight penalty. Its the amount of pressure and criticism the REF and VAR did not want to deal with. FIFA preaches fair play, and there was none in that decision. We can be upset for Ghana but the decison stands.The decision should not be surprising to us South Africans or others.

@bb_mhat A definite penalty. Don't know what this VAR was for today? Konsa was high, never got the ball. If it was an English player fouled like this, it was gonna be awarded easily. We still see very unjustified decisions in world cup 2026 unfortunately.
