I started working in a Greek Luncheonette at 12 years old washing dishes, pots & pans by hand & busing tables. During the summer when school was out, I'd work 12-hour days 6 days a week. During school hours I'd work 3-6 6 days a week. I hated the job, but I thought I was blessed.
