Christina Aguilera Didn’t Recreate the ’40s. She Made It Dance. “Candyman” sounds like the 1940s. But Christina Aguilera makes it feel more alive than most pop videos from 2006. That sentence alone should start an argument. Before anyone brings up Back to Basics, Linda Perry, or the Billboard chart, the video drops you into another decade: sailor hats, pin-up curls, a hangar full of soldiers, swing dancers cutting the floor. Then Christina appears not as one star, but as three — a wartime trio moving like The Andrews Sisters walked onto a twenty-first-century set and refused to behave like a tribute act. It does not look like a normal mid-2000s clip. It looks like a musical that escaped its own era. The sound follows the pictures. The song borrows swing, close harmonies in the spirit of “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” blues phrasing, and a Marines cadence that gives the track its barked pulse. Those ingredients could have produced a costume replica. They didn’t. Christina never vanishes into the period. The voice is too large, too elastic, too modern. She is not playing a 1940s singer. She is a 2006 pop star walking into the 1940s and turning the room up. That is the real trick. Plenty of artists borrow the past. Very few make the past keep up with them. Watch the dancing and the argument gets sharper. Benji Schwimmer is not a cameo. The swing steps, the group formations, the three Christinas trading lines — the video treats rhythm as something you should be able to see. You don’t just hear “Candyman.” You can almost watch the beat move from a jukebox to a row of soldiers to a girl in a sailor hat who will not stand still. Which raises the question fans still dodge: if the idea, the performance, and the world-building were this strong, why did it stall at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100? It reached No. 17 in the UK and No. 9 in Canada. Catchy enough. Stylish enough. Distinct enough. And still treated like a clever album cut instead of a defining hit. Maybe that is why the video aged better than the chart position. It is not cozy nostalgia. It is nostalgia used as a playground. The 1940s supply the silhouette. Christina supplies the voltage. The past becomes clothing, not a museum. So here is the comment section question, and it is not rhetorical. Was “Candyman” Christina playing dress-up with history — or one of the smartest pop videos of the 2000s, hiding in plain sight because it refused to look like everything else that year? And if you had to choose: the trio in white uniforms, the diner stools, or the sailor-and-soldiers finale — which version of Christina actually won?

🦂 Akademiks goes OFF on J. Cole’s upcoming album Ak was live debating the impact of a new J. Cole album and he made one thing clear: 👉 Cole better NOT be talking tough or dissing anyone. 🎯 Ak’s Main Take •After dropping a Kendrick diss, deleting it, and publicly apologizing, Ak says Cole lost all credibility in rap battles. •If Cole comes back saying “I’m still the best” or sneak dissing anyone, Ak says it’s unacceptable. “You can’t diss, delete, apologize… then act like Muhammad Ali.” 📉 “Fall From Grace” •Ak says Cole “fell from grace” the moment he bowed out. •Calls The Fall Off title ironic because to him, Cole already fell off in terms of competitive rap energy. •Says Cole went from “I’m him” to backtracking under pressure. 🧠 What Ak Thinks Cole SHOULD Rap About •❌ No disses •❌ No “best rapper alive” talk •✅ Mental health •✅ Introspection •✅ Vibes / lyrical rap “Rap about rain, daisies, sunshine… but don’t claim the throne.” 🥊 Rap Skill vs Conviction •Ak admits Cole is still a great rapper technically. •But says rap battles require conviction, not just bars. •Comparing Cole to Bronny James: talented, but doesn’t have “that dog.” 🏆 Top 3 Debate •Ak says Cole is no longer Top 3 after Drake & Kendrick. •Claims Future has more standing right now because he doesn’t fold. •Says legacy wise, this moment hurt Cole permanently. ⚠️ Final Verdict •If Cole drops heat without dissing, Ak will listen. •If Cole sneak disses or talks tough? 👉 “I’m turning it off.” 🗣️ “You can’t talk tough after your chain got snatched. Go get it back first.”

🚨 THIS NUMBER SHOULD NOT EXIST The U.S. housing market is now at the most unaffordable level in history. Worse than the legendary 2006 housing bubble: The median U.S. home now costs $436,000. Five years ago? $270,000. That’s a 61.5% price increase. Wages over the same period? +29%. To qualify for a mortgage on a median-priced home today, Americans need a minimum of $127,000 in household income. The median household earns about $80,000. That means 75% of homes on the market are unaffordable for the average American family. 3 out of 4. Mortgage rates are the second punch. They went from 2.7% to 6.3% in just five years. Even if prices hadn’t moved, monthly payments would’ve nearly doubled. And here’s the part nobody wants to say out loud: On January 29th, Trump told his Cabinet he does not want housing prices to fall. He wants them higher. That’s great if you already own. It’s brutal if you’re trying to buy your first home. 99% of U.S. counties are less affordable than their historical norms. The country is short roughly 7.1 million homes. And construction is slowing. Existing home sales in 2025 are tracking around 4.1 million. That’s near the lowest level in three decades. Homeownership has fallen to 65%, down from 69% in 2004. This is the largest affordability crisis in modern U.S. housing history. Prices went up. Rates went up. Wages did not. And politicians do not want prices to fall. The average American family is not waiting for a better entry. That is the trap. They are locked out of the market. Reminder: I’ve called all the market tops and bottoms for the last 15 years, including the Bitcoin bottom at $16,000 and the top at $126,000. The next call will be even more important. When I exit the markets completely, I’ll post it here publicly like I always do. Turn notifications on. If you’re not following yet, you’ll understand why that was a mistake later.

Flux 3 首次测试效果确实还不错,可能在打斗特效方面不及 SD2.0,但是真实感确实挺好。 prompt 👇 A 20-second scene in a narrow residential alley in a Chinese city late at night, in three hard-cut beats. The ground is still wet from rain and reflects the warm yellow lightbox of a small noodle shop. A pretty Chinese woman, 24, long straight black hair, light knit cardigan over a beige skirt, minimal makeup, walks fast away from camera with her arms crossed. A good-looking Chinese man, 26, slim, short hair, black hooded jacket, catches up alongside her and says low, in Mandarin: 「你能不能别走这么快。」 She doesn't answer. HARD CUT. She stops and turns to face him, keeping her voice down so the neighbours won't hear, and says in Mandarin: 「你根本就没听我说话。」 He starts to reach for her arm and doesn't finish the gesture: 「……我听了。」 She looks straight at him: 「那你说我刚才说什么了。」 HARD CUT. He says nothing. Three full seconds of silence while his mouth opens slightly and closes again. Her eyes go red but no tears fall. She looks off to the side, exhales, and says quietly: 「算了。」 Neither of them moves. They stand one step apart as an electric scooter hums past behind them. Camera: handheld follow behind her shoulder for the first beat, a 50mm two-shot at eye level for the second, a static wider frame from the far end of the alley for the third. Audio: both voices deliberately low and tired rather than loud; her sneakers on wet pavement, the extractor fan of the noodle shop, distant traffic on the main road, the whine of the passing scooter, his breathing slightly quick from catching up. No music, no on-screen text, no subtitles.

A 22 YEAR OLD IS RUNNING A CHILDREN'S TELEVISION NETWORK FROM HER BEDROOM. SHE PRODUCES A NEW 3D ANIMATED EPISODE EVERY SINGLE MORNING. SHE HAS NO ANIMATORS AND SHE DOES NOT DRAW. Kids' nursery rhyme channels routinely pull 2 million views per video. YouTube pays between $1,000 and $5,000 per million views. Before this year, getting a piece of that market required a 3D animation studio, voice actors, and a month of rendering. She does it in under five minutes. The whole pipeline fits on an iPad. She opens Picsart Flow and selects Sora 2. She pastes one master prompt. A vibrant, bright 3D animated kids show. Soft playful world. Glossy textures. Upbeat bouncy music. Characters that pop into frame and react naturally. She clicks generate. Two minutes later, the file is ready. 4K resolution. Perfectly lit 3D characters, smiling letters and colorful water drops, bouncing and lip-syncing to a synthesized song. The camera moves like a real director filmed it. She uploads it to YouTube. The next morning, she does it again. The kids watching don't know it was generated by a machine. The parents who just want five minutes of quiet don't care. The YouTube algorithm treats it like a Pixar short. A real animation studio spends $50,000 and two months to produce three minutes of content. She spends zero dollars and goes to make coffee. While the rest of the internet argues about whether AI video is ethical, she is quietly pulling market share from massive media companies with a single prompt. Most people will watch her tutorial and complain. A few will open a new tab.

Stan Druckenmiller just explained the one rule that separates great investors from everyone else. "If the reason I bought a stock is no longer the case, I don't care what I paid for it." No anchoring to your cost basis. No waiting to break even. Clean slate. He bought at $60. It drops to $50. Most investors sit paralyzed waiting to get back to where they started. Druckenmiller has zero emotion about it and sells immediately. "I just don't care what I paid for a stock. It's absolutely irrelevant to my investment process going forward." This is actually what support and resistance on a chart is measuring. Resistance at $60 means a crowd of people bought at $60, watched it fall, and have been waiting three or four years just to break even. While they waited, they missed everything that was going up the whole time. Anchoring to your cost basis is one of the most expensive habits in investing. But Druckenmiller pairs this with something most people struggle to do at the same time: concentration. "Not being afraid of concentration is a big reason for my success." He plays across five buckets: equities, bonds, currencies, commodities, and credit. When one market has no clear edge, he finds one that does and sizes up there instead. Bear market in equities? The real action moves to bonds and currencies. He just follows it. Unemotional about losses. Concentrated when he has conviction. Flexible across markets. That combination is what kept him from ever having a down year. Our analysts use the same discipline sizing into high conviction positions across sectors. They were early to $AMD, $MU, $BE and $CRDO before their big run ups. You can follow their exact portfolios for $1 at Milk Road PRO. (link in bio)

Come see Akure, as they drive through the city. Akure is the capital of Ondo state, southwestern Nigeria. It lies in the southern part of the forested Yoruba Hills and at the intersection of roads from Ondo, Ilesha, Ado-Ekiti, and Owo. Akure is an agricultural trade centre for cassava, corn (maize), bananas, rice, palm oil and kernels, okra, rubber, coffee, and pumpkins. Although cocoa is by far the most important local commercial crop, cotton, teak, and palm produce are also cultivated for export. The town’s industries include electronics manufacturing, soft drink bottling, weaving, and pottery making. Akure is the site of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (founded in 1981), and the Federal College of Agriculture (1957). Ondo, state, western Nigeria. It was created out of former Ondo province of former Western state in 1976. It is bounded by the states of Kwara and Kogi on the north, Edo on the east, Delta on the southeast, and Osun and Ogun on the west and by the Bight of Benin of the Atlantic Ocean on the south. Ondo state includes mangrove-swamp forest near the Bight of Benin, tropical rain forest in the centre part, and wooded savanna on the gentle slopes of the Yoruba Hills in the north. Agriculture is the mainstay of the economy, and the chief products are cotton and tobacco from the north, cacao from the central part, and rubber and timber (teak and hardwoods) from the south and east; palm oil and kernels are cultivated for export throughout the state. Ondo is Nigeria’s chief cocoa-producing state. Other crops include rice, yams, corn (maize), coffee, taro, cassava (manioc), vegetables, and fruits. Traditional industries include pottery making, cloth weaving, tailoring, carpentry, and blacksmithing. Mineral deposits include kaolin, pyrites, iron ore, petroleum, and coal. There is a textile mill located at Ado-Ekiti and a palm-oil processing plant at Okitipupa. The state, primarily inhabited by the Yoruba, a people with a tradition of living in towns, has a high proportion of urban dwellers. Akure, the state capital, is rapidly developing into a commercial and industrial centre and is the site of a federal university of technology. The Ikogosi hot spring and the historic Idanre Hills are places of interest. The main highway from Benin City to Lagos crosses the southern part of the state. Area 5,639 square miles (14,606 square km). Pop. (2006) 3,441,024. Yorubaland is blessed and the best place in Africa.
