3 months later and they've yet to get the help that is deserved to them.

A little hurricane reminder

Ukraine comes 1st,2nd & 3rd with the current administration. Asheville isn’t a priority.

Now, nearly 10% of Asheville is being put into a flood plane, making much of the real estate there virtually worthless. So sad! I used to live within 10 minutes from there, and it is so devastating to see how the government that sends BILLIONS to Ukraine turns a blind eye to the people whose lives have been destroyed in the Asheville area.

No worries. Another 2 billion was just sent to Ukraine.

That's crazy. This long and it's like nothing was cleaned up. What's taking them so long? If it was Ukraine it's be finished.

It takes time I can tell you after Katrina hit New Orleans it looked like a war zone for well over a year many places sat abandoned for years It was a process Roughly 5 years until it started to resemble what it previously looked like and 10 years until you’d consider normal

@dwallacewells It's called climate abandon. This community is not going to recover before the next big extreme event hits it #ClimateAbandon

🙏🏻💔 Beyond sad and beyond disturbing, this happens in our country While our government sends billions of dollars to other countries

What part of “once in a millennium” don’t people understand? This isn’t going to be fixed overnight

Who was president when Helene went down? Where was the NC governor? Where was FEMA? Where are the insurance company settlements? Systemic failure = black-pilled... Maybe AccuWeather should acknowledge Samaritans Purse, MercuryOne and the Amish...
