On the second day of Israel's strikes in #Iran, reports emerged of attacks in and around the city of Tabriz. At the Alma Center, we published three videos two years ago focusing on the ballistic missiles near Tabriz, the air defense systems, and the local airport. Whenever I see these fences at Auschwitz-Birkenau, I don’t just see a museum. I see the exact reason why we fight today. 😥✡️ Those electric wires weren't just meant to keep people in - they were built to strip away every ounce of human dignity. They were built on the idea that Jewish blood is cheap and that we’d always be the victims, waiting for a miracle that usually never came. The world loves a quiet, suffering Jew. They love us in the history books and the black-and-white photos. But we’re done playing that part. Today, while we’re dealing with Iran, Hezbollah, and the daily grind in Judea and Samaria, we aren't fighting for "politics." We’re fighting so that the only fence surrounding a Jewish child is the border of the State of Israel, guarded by the strongest army on earth. We don't want your sympathy anymore. We want peace, but we know it only comes through power. We remember the silence of those camps every single time we pull a trigger or intercept a rocket. We are the miracle now. Of course, He also promised He would never leave us or forsake us. But Scripture shows that there is a unique, transforming presence of Christ that we experience when we come together in His name. Yet many people today say they are Christians while choosing to live their faith completely alone. They don’t gather with the church, they don’t join small groups, and they miss the spiritual strength and transformation that comes through community. Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo journey. God designed us to grow, be strengthened, and encounter His presence as we gather with other believers. The most beautiful reunion… 21 years ago this week this incredible woman, US Army Specialist Shoshana Johnson, was captured in Iraq and spent the next 22 days held captive as a POW. One day before what she says she thought would be her last day alive US Marine Curney Russell, along with his fellow marines kicked in a door where she was being hidden and rescued Shoshana saving her life. Yet, the two of them have never met in person since that day!!!! I couldn’t believe that when I heard it. That day they got her on a helicopter to medically evacuate her and then Russell went back and served our country for several more years. Shoshana & Curney have not seen each other since… until now, 21 years later! Talk about heroes! The two were guests on my Unbreakable podcast for Veterans Day in the fall and when they said they still have not met in-person besides the day of the rescue I made them a promise I would make their reunion happen. So last week I flew them to California, along with other members of their team, to finally meet up once again. It was MAGICAL! We spent an incredible weekend together and even filmed another Unbreakable: A Mental WEALTH Podcast together (airs tomorrow) to document the reunion so they can lift up the world once again. This was some real life superhero stuff. Enjoy and help me celebrate them together. Such inspirations. They epitomize bravery, courage and inspiration. I was proud to be a fly on the wall and witness this beautiful reunion.

REPORT | A Yemeni drone exploded in Eilat on Wednesday night, injuring at least 23 Israelis–including two in very critical condition–Israeli Army Radio confirmed. Yemeni media said the blast tore through hotel rooms and nearby facilities at a tourist center, leaving explosive remnants that required bomb squads. The army admitted its defenses failed to intercept the drone, as the critically wounded were rushed to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba. In 1995, an Asian elephant named Tarra became the first resident of a wildlife sanctuary in Hohenwald, Tennessee, in the southern United States. The sanctuary was built specifically for retired and rescued elephants. Over the years, more elephants arrived. They formed bonds with each other. Tarra remained alone. Then a stray dog wandered onto the grounds. Nobody knows where Bella came from. She just appeared one day and never left. For eight years the two were inseparable. They ate together, slept together and roamed the sanctuary's 2,700 acres side by side. When Bella suffered a spinal injury and had to spend three weeks recovering in the sanctuary office, Tarra stood outside the building every single day and waited. On October 26, 2011, staff could not find Bella. They searched the grounds for 24 hours. When they eventually found her near the barn, it was clear she had been attacked by coyotes. The most joyful video you would see today 😁 I would never forget this moment in my entire life! I've not felt this rewarded about something I took part in a longggg whileeee. When I started this course with the Lagos Business School, I didn't envisage that I would be the group leader for a Capstone Project. And neither did I anticipate that there would be a reward. And I definitely didn't expect that my team would WIN!!! None of us did. Our Group Capstone Project was to develop a comprehensive management consultant strategy of our choice. We chose Kids Nurture Initiative, an organization which launched in 2022 in Ijebu-Imusin to address the problem of education from a standpoint of hunger and malnutrition in underserved communities. The most interesting thing for me was that I didn't know any of my team members prior; had never met even one of them. But we came together, decided to work together without issues. Everyone showed up to do their parts in less than two months. When meetings were called, they showed. When tasks were assigned, they delivered. It took sweat and blood, including late nights, to ensure we delivered the best that we could. We almost couldn't stop screaming when our group name came up on the screen. It was rewarding. For history, these are their names: Feolami Awe-Joseph, Maria Hassan, Ahmed Adebowale, Marian Smart, Abdullahi Ibrahim, Zaid Pindar, Tinuade Daniel, Victoria Uwaifo and Anjola Oladimeji. Thank you, Lagos Business School, for the recognition of our hard work and team work. It has truly meant a lot.
