She's half his size and she charged him twice anyway. Big male came walking down the gravel bar straight at her and the cubs. She sent them up the leaning tree and went at him on her own. Never actually touched him, just charged and stopped short, twice, and stood up on her back legs. He decided it wasn't worth it and swam across to the other side.
