Three years ago was the most insane tornado evolution I have ever seen. A cone tornado chews up unplanted farmland, taking on a dirty barrel shape before the collar cloud sinks into a mile-wide tornado. These four clips happened over about 10 minutes. 3.31.2023 - Hedrick, IA

Want to know why the 4-26-2026 Foraker, Oklahoma #tornado went from an established "hog/ potential long track tornado" to POOF in a matter of seconds? After diving deep into my drone & 360 video it became fairly obvious as to what happened. If you watch this video close, you can see a sudden burst of what initially looks like outflow blowing out and away from the tornado as it simultaneously collapses the lower vortex. I know you're probably asking yourself, "why would this be outflow", and its a great question. The answer is, its not. What I believe is happening here is the mesocyclone is beginning to "handoff" to the new meso north. (aka the twin tornado). The RFD surge on the fully condensed tornado ends up getting pulled into the one to the north completely undercutting it. (as seen in the video). Where have we seen this before?? Funny coincidence, on the April 26, 2024 (yes same exact day two years prior) tornado outbreak across Nebraska and Iowa, you could see this exact thing happen with the Lincoln tornado as it handed off to what turned into the Waverly tornado to the north. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day feature the most impressive severe thunderstorm setup I’ve seen along the California coastline in at least a decade. The first round of isolated severe thunderstorms will come ashore tonight, bringing the threat of a isolated tornado and severe wind gusts over 60 mph from the Central Coast up to Humboldt County. The severe weather threat then expands into the Central Valley during the afternoon, California’s tornado alley, with the potential for isolated tornadoes, damaging winds, and even large hail. The threat then shifts south into Southern California tomorrow, where isolated severe wind gusts and a brief tornado will be possible. However, Christmas Eve into Christmas morning features the most potent severe weather environment of the week and could lead to a severe thunderstorm outbreak along the coastline from the Central Coast up to the North Coast. The combination of strong low-level and deep-layer shear with sufficient instability is rarely seen in this part of the world. I seriously cannot recall seeing Significant Tornado Parameter (STP) values exceed 3 along the California coastline. The peak threat window appears to be from 10 PM Thursday to 8 AM Friday. It would not be out of the question to see a Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued Christmas Eve night with the potential for a couple tornadoes and scattered severe wind gusts. I also believe this may be the first time on record that San Francisco has been placed under a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms in the Day 1–3 NWS Storm Prediction Center Convective Outlooks.

When Biden took office in 2021 inflation was a little over 1%. By June of 2021 it had shot way up and was on its way to a 40 year high. For over three years Biden said not to worry about it. It's just about having a little "breathing room" he repeated every month. When the 2024 campaign season began Biden started claiming that inflation was at 9% when he took office. You know all the Democrat politicians who can't stop posting about prices now, a little over two months into Trump's term? Good luck finding one post from them about prices during the four years that Biden's policies were destroying the middle class.

⛈️ The storm I witnessed yesterday near Clarendon, Texas, is hands down one of the most incredible ones I’ve ever seen! Those bright blue bands were so vibrant. I haven’t seen such bright blue banding like that since a hail storm in Iowa in 2022. The blue hues are caused by the scattering of sunlight by ice crystals and water droplets high in the storm clouds, especially during the “golden hour” when the sun’s angle enhances those vibrant colors. I’d trade nearly any tornado I’ve seen in the past two years for this—honestly, I could care less about tornadoes. I just want to see the coolest or most interesting thing out there. We've all seen how 60 Minutes interviews Trump. They go to war with him on every statement. Scott Pelley has interviewed Biden numerous times. They are always softball interviews but his 2022 interview with Biden was particularly pathetic. Inflation was just off of a 40 year high. Pelley did ask him one question it about inflation in the beginning and then moved on to the fun stuff. No questions about the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan the year before. No questions about the fact that the border was wide open and had been for two years. Here's some clips from that pathetic interview. 1/7: Biden claims to have reduced the debt. No correction or follow-up from Pelley.

This sight was worth getting out of bed early. Just over four years ago, Comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) rose before dawn to the delight of northern sky enthusiasts awake that early. Up before sunrise on July 8th, the featured photographer was able to capture in dramatic fashion one of the few comets visible to the unaided eye this century, an inner-Solar System intruder that has become known as the Great Comet of 2020. The resulting video detailed Comet NEOWISE from Italy rising over the Adriatic Sea. The featured time-lapse video combines over 240 images taken over 30 minutes. The comet was seen rising through a foreground of bright and undulating noctilucent clouds, and before a background of distant stars. Three years ago, I pitched a business to this Particular organization, and they told me they were not seeing the potential I was seeing. Just about an hour ago, I pitched the same business to the same particular organization, and the chairperson said, “Spirit, let’s get to work immediately on this; this is a big one.” What changed three years ago vs. today? ♟️Audience. My Point: There is an audience for everything. It requires wisdom to understand wisdom. The music is nothing if the audience is deaf. So why give up when you can just convince yourself that you are yet to be heard or seen by the right people? What was treated as useless three years ago is the same thing the same organization is saying: “This will put us on the map in the whole of Africa.” I made it possible. You too can. Happy July🥃.

5 years ago I booked an air bnb with my friends on our girls trip. My bedroom was facing the Burj Khalifa and the water fountains. I woke up at 1pm, looked outside the window and saw the water fountains going on, sun shining into it and creating a beautiful rainbow. It was the most beautiful view I’ve ever seen and I said to myself one day I’m gonna live here with the exact same view. Today, this is my view every morning and this is finally what I can call my home:

While the US finally had a break from tornadoes, it was CANADA that surprised many when it dropped a wedge tornado near Shoal Lake, Manitoba yesterday evening. In this radar loop, you can see where this tornado's origins came from starting with the outflow boundary (the line of weak reflectivity values the storm pops out from to the east of the radar site). Outflow boundaries concentrate extreme low-level rotation and force rapid upward motion, such that when supercells interact with these boundaries, the pre-existing spin can be stretched into tornadoes. These can happen super fast, and it remains something we don't fully understand. In the span of 30 minutes, we went from there being no discernible storm to there being a wedge on the ground, without a mesocyclone or a nudger. What is even more amazing is that despite Canada's radars being lower-resolution compared to what we have in the US, you can still quite clearly see the hook echo and the eventual debris ball that forms on reflectivity. Luckily, no injuries or fatalities have been confirmed from this tornado at this time.

I see a lot of people sharing stories so I think I might as well. The first SpaceX launch I watched live was Jason 3 on January 17 2016. The fifth landing attempt and the first one following the first successful RTLS a month before. We didn't get this video until the day after launch. This was the point where I really got interested into spaceflight as a whole. I have highly mixed feelings about the state of the company just over ten years later as they have gone public today but it's been one hell of a ride, that's for sure.

I was driving home a few days ago and randomly started thinking about Marc and wondering what he was up to. I hadn’t seen him in almost 10 years. He was one of the first pros I ever traveled with because we were both sponsored by Matix. When you’re young, you remember the pros who were genuinely nice to you. Marc was always the coolest. He would disappear for long stretches at a time, but every time I saw him again, it was a big hug. He genuinely wanted to know what I was up to and how life was going. I’ll never forget the time I got to spend with you. Rest easy, my friend.

Posting this as a Tesla FSD public service and the outside chance Tesla see’s this. Yesterday FSD nearly drove into the concrete jersey barrier on hwy 17 as I was traveling to Santa Cruz California. I intervened a fraction of a second before impact. This video doesn’t show the event but does show the conditions a few minutes later when I thought to honk the horn to save a clip. I have used FSD for years and this was the most epic fail. Note that there is little margin for error. I am on hw3 and have NOT received 14 lite Tesla AI Elon Musk Please tag the appropriate team if you can.

A very large M7.7 earthquake has struck Indonesia (West Pacific) at the exact warned location which was warned 4 days ago. The antipode of the large M7.4-M7.7 Colombia earthquake has now been hit by a M7.7 in Indonesia four days later.
