Barrón-López: I was talking to the lawyers for those U.S. Citizen children that were deported today, and they were telling me that, you know, essentially refuting what the administration is saying, saying that these mothers had no ability to talk to legal counsel, that there were multiple legal custodians that were willing to take the children and take care of them, and could legally take care of them in the United States. Yesterday, an Iranian-Swedish man was executed on bogus charges of espionage. Today, these three men, including 19 year old wrestling champion Saleh Mohammadi, involved in January protests were also executed after televised coerced confessions under duress. No lawyers. No proper trials. I am afraid there will be an execution spree in the coming days and months. The international community must be involved in helping with regime change; otherwise, we will continue to see mass slaughter and executions of Iranians. Even a weakened mullah regime and IRGC will continue to pose a threat to the world.
