Three.jsの新しい作例、すごく綺麗。 東京の3Dタイル表示、雲がとくに素敵。 JavaScriptでここまでできるなんて。

正直、Three.jsの進化はめちゃくちゃ凄いと思う。ただ、ブラウザで動くThree.js製のガチな神ゲーって、まだない気がするんだよね。

It may not qualify as a breakout hit, and it was not made with Three.js, but I was involved in developing this browser-based 3D game at my company. Because browser 3D is so easy to access, I would love to see more projects like this.

Modeling all of that from scratch would be an enormous amount of work, but fortunately we can use Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles.

@polloimperial Thanks for the feedback. I was not trying to say that JavaScript is the ideal language for this. What I meant is that WebGPU has broadened what JavaScript can handle on the web, including more demanding graphics and computation.

@mrdoob Just goes to show if you pour enough into any technology it can do a lot. Imagine what Flutter/Dart would be with that. Is Flutter well known in Japan? The 3D stuff is a great case for canvas based
