HYBE’s actions, like publishing articles that painted us in a bad light just a week before our comeback, make us question how any of this is supposed to be in our best interest. 🐻: It's already been half a year of unnecessary and exhausting discussions about us and NewJeans, and even as a third party, it must be tiring. But whilst hundreds of my team pass through the entry pods each day, the truth is that most of our work happens many miles away from this place - out of sight, hidden from the world, undercover, recruiting and running agents who choose to place their trust in us, sharing secrets to make the UK and the world safer. You might pass one of our officers on the street or sit next to them on a plane when you’re about to set off on an adventure of your own, or in a foreign city taking selfies by the sights. Whether it’s in seemingly everyday places, or on the front line embedded with our military, MI6 is there. In my first few weeks, I’ve heard repeatedly that MI6 is trusted and respected globally, two things that we never take for granted. We are seen as a source of hard power, soft influence and rapid innovation. I’ve also heard that people want to believe in MI6. It’s my job to make sure they can. Today, I want to talk about human agency. We all have choices to make about how we deal with the undercurrents shaping our world. About how, in our new, faster, more dangerous and technology-mediated world, it will be our rediscovery of our shared humanity, our ability to listen, and our courage that will determine how our future unfolds. Conflict is not inevitable. Understanding human nature is in my bones. From a family shaped by devastating conflict, I grew up with a deep sense of gratitude for the UK’s precious democracy and freedom. I spent much of my childhood overseas, which is where my passion for travel and adventure began. I studied anthropology, and later psychology and AI, exploring how we make sense of the world and each other. It’s why I was drawn to MI6: it offers strong purpose, a chance to serve and a belief in the positive power of human connection. Like the Service, I’m operational to my very core. Over nearly three decades, my career has involved recruiting and running agents in hostile territory; and leading operations in warzones to defuse threats and support peace. Always in teams, always learning from others. Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of brilliant partners – and indeed occasionally those we’d label as adversaries – across dozens of countries, tackling weapons proliferation and terrorism. During my time at MI5, I saw close up what it takes to defend Britain from being targeted by hostile states. You’ll find many like me in my organisation: powerfully motivated to protect our precious country; curious about how our world is changing, joining dots and taking action, across domains. But it was in my last role as ‘Q’, where it was my job to turn emerging technologies from threats to opportunities that I could most see the world changing. As I dug deep into data and extraordinary innovation, I could see how technology was rapidly reshaping not just our capabilities but also conflict and trust, truth and global power. Let me lay out how I see the global issues MI6 must tackle. Because the greatest danger we face is to misunderstand the nature of the problem. Let’s be in no doubt. Our world is more dangerous and contested now than it has been for decades. Conflict is evolving and trust eroding, just as new technologies spur both competition and dependence. We are being contested from sea to space, from the battlefield to the boardroom. And even our brains, as disinformation manipulates our understanding of each other and ourselves. Across the globe, we are now confronting not one single danger, but an interlocking web of security challenges – military, technological, social, ethical even – each shaping the other in complex ways. We are now operating in a space between peace and war. This is not a temporary state or a gradual, inevitable evolution. Our world is being actively remade, with profound implications for national and international security. Institutions which were designed in the ashes of the Second World War are being challenged. New blocs and identities forming and alliances reshaping. Multipolar competition in tension with multilateral cooperation. But there’s something distinctive that will make this change unlike any other: the impact of advanced technologies, which will accelerate the pace and scale of every threat and opportunity, and increasingly, individualise them too. Advances in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and quantum computing are not only revolutionising economies but rewriting the reality of conflict, as they ‘converge’ to create science-fiction-like tools. There’s incredible promise in all this for all of us, from green technologies to hyper-personalised medicine. But also peril. AI-powered robots and drones are brilliant for scaled manufacturing but devastating on the battlefield. Discoveries that cure disease can also create new weapons. And as states race for tech supremacy, or as some algorithms become as powerful as states, those hyper-personalised tools could become a new vector for conflict and control. Power itself is becoming more diffuse, more unpredictable as control over these technologies is shifting from states to corporations, and sometimes to individuals. And at the same time, the foundations of trust in our societies are eroding. Information, once a unifying force, is increasingly weaponised. Falsehood spreads faster than fact, dividing communities and distorting reality. We live in an age of hyper-connection yet profound isolation. The algorithms flatter our biases and fracture our public squares. And as trust collapses, so does our shared sense of truth – one of the greatest losses a society can suffer. The defining challenge of the twenty-first century is not simply who wields the most powerful technologies, but who guides them with the greatest wisdom. Our security, our prosperity, and our humanity depend on it. Our world is being remade. And for the first time, we are all at the heart of it. My Service must now operate in this new context too: not just expert on hostile states, terrorism, proliferation and more, but also fluent in technology, able to anticipate the second and third order effects of advances that reshape the world in minutes not months. And as China will be a central part of the global transformation taking place this century, it is essential that we, as MI6, continue to inform the government’s understanding of China’s rise and the implications for UK national security. I’m going to break with tradition and won’t give you a global threat tour, but will focus here on Putin’s Russia. We all continue to face the menace of an aggressive, expansionist and revisionist Russia, seeking to subjugate Ukraine and harass NATO. I find it harrowing that hundreds of thousands have died, with the toll mounting every day, because of Putin’s historical distortions and his compromised desire for respect. He is dragging out negotiations and shifting the cost of war onto his own population. But Putin should be in no doubt, our support is enduring. The pressure we apply on Ukraine’s behalf will be sustained. Because it is fundamental not just to European sovereignty and security but to global stability. Alongside the grinding war, Russia is testing us in the grey zone with tactics that are just below the threshold of war. It’s important to understand their attempts to bully, fearmonger and manipulate, because it affects us all. I am talking about: Cyberattacks on critical infrastructure. Drones buzzing airports and bases. Aggressive activity in our seas, above and below the waves. State-sponsored arson and sabotage. Propaganda and influence operations that crack open and exploit fractures within societies. Countering this activity is the work of intelligence and security services across Europe and the globe. And as the Foreign Secretary made clear in a speech last week, the UK is defending itself against this Russian information warfare – sanctioning Russian media outlets pushing Kremlin narratives. The export of chaos is a feature not a bug in this Russian approach to international engagement; and we should be ready for this to continue until Putin is forced to change his calculus. So, how should we respond? It’s not enough now just to understand the world. We must shape it too. MI6 is well-positioned to respond to these threats and wider global instability. And we will continue to evolve, just as we have throughout our long history. The UK government has invested in our intelligence agencies and we are all using our unique powers to keep the British people safe. Our ‘open and connected’ partnerships across the UK Intelligence Community, with HMGCC, NSSIF and the wider tech ecosystem in the UK will become even more important – because in the digital battleground, no single organisation can prevail alone. As a global agency, MI6’s inbuilt strength is our partners and our people. The risks I have set out require us to work ever more closely with our colleagues in MI5, GCHQ and in defence and diplomacy. But also with our Five Eyes partners, with the E3, the EU, NATO, those across the Middle East, the Indo-Pacific and beyond. And with many valued partners whose identity needs to remain secret. Together, we integrate our diverse talent, data and tools to meet the threat. AI is a domain in which we will excel, using the technology to augment, not replace, our human skills. Every digital trace, every byte of data, every algorithmic decision has implications for the safety of the lives of the courageous people who work with us as officers and agents, and for the UK’s strategic advantage. Mastery of technology will infuse everything we do. Not just in our labs, but in the field, in our tradecraft, and even more importantly, in the mindset of every officer. We will become as comfortable with lines of code as we are with human sources, as fluent in Python as we are in multiple other languages. Under my leadership, MI6 will continue to attract Britain’s best and most creative minds: linguists and data scientists, case officers and engineers, behavioural experts and technologists. We need people who walk in the shoes and get in the heads of our adversaries. We need people who think differently, challenge assumptions, and act decisively. All can thrive and make a difference at MI6. At an operational level, we will sharpen our edge and impact with audacity, tapping into – if you like – our historical SOE instincts. We’re at our best when we’re hustling to make things happen, because our intelligence is most valuable when it changes reality on the ground. We will take calculated risks, where the prize is significant and the national interest clear. We will never stoop to the tactics of our opponents. But we must seek to outplay them. In every domain. In every way. So intelligence must drive action. Action must deliver advantage. And advantage must serve Britain’s security and prosperity. But at the core, our deeper contribution is also our simplest – how we unlock human agency. Our fast-paced, tech and threat-infused world now generates more heat than light. I’ve seen time and again throughout my career, that this is where MI6 matters most: we listen and we hear. We understand, because we take time to learn languages and cultures, complex technical and historical detail, immerse ourselves in what’s really driving the situation. Across the globe, right now, our officers are finding people with the courage to step forward, and they are taking time to sit and listen to break these tightening cycles of violence. They listen for nuance, for connection, for opportunity. Over the years, I’ve listened to terrorists who have told us how to defuse the bomb because they know that more violence won’t help. To proliferators and smugglers who’ve told us where to find the dangerous material, motivated to protect their children’s future. To people trapped in authoritarian regimes who know, deep down, that their humanity is being chipped away – and that telling us what’s really going on is an important release, allowing us all to find better ways to navigate our changing world. So, we will work with our agents. And we will continue to engage directly, and with respect, with states and organisation currently working against us. Away from the glare of the media, we will use MI6’s convening power wherever we can to make a material difference, bringing parties together to defuse tensions. But the response to the increasing risks we face won’t be delivered by the UK intelligence community alone. Wider society has a role to play too. That includes work taking place in schools across the country so our children don’t get duped by information manipulation. Let’s all check sources, consider evidence, and be alive to those algorithms that trigger intense reactions, like fear. It also means everyone in society really understanding the world we are in – a world where terrorists plot against us, where our enemies fearmonger, bully and manipulate, and the front line is everywhere. Online, on our streets, in our supply chains, in the minds and on the screens of our citizens. We must all stand together against this. As we do today with our friends in Australia after the shocking antisemitic terrorist attack this weekend. My thoughts -and those of my whole organisation – are with the family, friends and loved ones of the victims. Light will always win over darkness. In rising to meet these challenges we, in MI6, will remain anchored to our values: courage, creativity, respect and integrity. And to our principles: accountability and trust are not constraints on our work; they are the foundations of our legitimacy with the British public. We understand, because we take time to learn languages and cultures, complex technical and historical detail, immerse ourselves in what’s really driving the situation. Across the globe, right now, our officers are finding people with the courage to step forward, and they are taking time to sit and listen to break these tightening cycles of violence. They listen for nuance, for connection, for opportunity. Over the years, I’ve listened to terrorists who have told us how to defuse the bomb because they know that more violence won’t help. To proliferators and smugglers who’ve told us where to find the dangerous material, motivated to protect their children’s future. To people trapped in authoritarian regimes who know, deep down, that their humanity is being chipped away – and that telling us what’s really going on is an important release, allowing us all to find better ways to navigate our changing world. So, we will work with our agents. And we will continue to engage directly, and with respect, with states and organisation currently working against us. Away from the glare of the media, we will use MI6’s convening power wherever we can to make a material difference, bringing parties together to defuse tensions. But the response to the increasing risks we face won’t be delivered by the UK intelligence community alone. Wider society has a role to play too. That includes work taking place in schools across the country so our children don’t get duped by information manipulation. Let’s all check sources, consider evidence, and be alive to those algorithms that trigger intense reactions, like fear. It also means everyone in society really understanding the world we are in – a world where terrorists plot against us, where our enemies fearmonger, bully and manipulate, and the front line is everywhere. Online, on our streets, in our supply chains, in the minds and on the screens of our citizens. We must all stand together against this. As we do today with our friends in Australia after the shocking antisemitic terrorist attack this weekend. My thoughts -and those of my whole organisation – are with the family, friends and loved ones of the victims. Light will always win over darkness. In rising to meet these challenges we, in MI6, will remain anchored to our values: courage, creativity, respect and integrity. And to our principles: accountability and trust are not constraints on our work; they are the foundations of our legitimacy with the British public. Recently, I had the privilege of meeting and thanking a foreign agent who has worked with us for decades, taking extraordinary risks to help keep the UK safe. I asked why. They said simply, ‘Your values. Your integrity and respect. None of us have a future without them’. This moment reinforced to me that we must remain a very human agency. And so, to sustain that trust, MI6 will continue to be more open. Not for the sake of visibility, but because it matters – and as my MI5 counterpart Sir Ken McCallum said recently - because it is a strength. The Tokyo Game Show was a humbling yet uplifting experience. We booked early and got a pretty decent sized booth in the middle of the main hall, hoping we could make some noise in Asia's most prestigious web2 game show... But the moment I arrived to the venue, it made me realize just how small Apeiron and web3 gaming still really is. We were surrounded by the giants of the industry, their sheer size, quality and scope are next level, and I genuinely feel like a bucket in an ocean.💧 I was also hoping we would have gotten more to show by this time as well, that our mobile game would be ready and the game economy would be blossoming. Sadly, it's quite the opposite, and it made me wonder if we are ready for such a big stage. But times don't wait and opportunities always come and go, so we'll just have to present the work we've done so far with the doodiest attitude and let the show go on.🙌 Each morning there would be a giant rush as early participants run through the venue to collect time slotted entry tickets from giant publishers to make sure they can experience upcoming AAA titles like Monster Hunter Wilds (MH is actually where Apeiron normal attacks are inspired from). Most of the giant booths don't actually give out much merchandise or ingame rewards, and the only real offer they have is for their fans to playtest the latest games, watch unrevealed trailers or take photos with cosplayers/mascots/diorama. Having been in web3 for a while, this is a good reminder that, out there, there is a massive and genuine love for gaming beyond incentives. And this is the intrinsic value of games that we hope to deliver🥰 After the initial rush, the traffick will eventually disperse and trickle towards other booths, I remember watching our line build up each day, finding different ways to attract passerbys to get a leaflet, to pre-register and to playtest our game, it took 2 hours to fill up the lines on the first day, and by the 4th day the lines filled up in 30 minutes. We got a pretty good strategy going, the models posed for a wall of photographers to block the path, while the mascot and plushies drew people in. big sword | Apeiron found it more effective to wave sealed packaged plushies instead of opened plushies to let ppl know it is actually something they can obtain and take away, small but very effective difference!🧸 Our line extended each day, and the booth was constantly surrounded by curious passerbys asking what game this is...what is the name of that cute mascot... when is it launching... After each playtest our Japanese community doods, such as mino.ron 🍊 who helped us man the battle stations would ask the player for their feedback, many of whom had to que for over an hour to try our game... and the feedback we got were very positive! The emotions I see on their face as they play the game, fighting the first boss and winning their first pvp matches... were all of genuine excitement and happiness. I watched a lot of gamers from around the world play Aperion for the first time, and I have to say this gaming nation really does pick up Apeiron faster compared to other regions, or hopefully, its because of the new tutorial we put in place.🤞 We were visited by many of the major booth's representatives, countless PR/Broadcasting outlets and a handful of mobile game publishers. A lot of them told me they were attracted to our booth's colorful design. We would mention the crypto elements of the game but most of the interest is centered around the cute dood, the colorful artwork and the unique gameplay. I literally got over 200+ business cards during these 4 days (though bulk of them are marketing agencies lol) and my email and telegram is absolutely flooded.💦 We may be a bucket in the ocean, and there is still a lot of work that needs to be done, but amidst the giants out there, the appeal of Apeiron is still here. Our uniqueness and quality is what sets us apart even amongst web2 peers. I don't know how much longer it will take for Apeiron to be ready to compete with the giants up there, but I know I want to be up there one day, and I have a target I really want to aim for.🎯 During those 4 days, while I was giving out flyers and waving plushies towards smiling japanese doods in real life, I was also messaging back in omega channel to a group of upset holders who were concerned with our token performance. It's quite a surreal and contrasting experience. But yes I understand the performance of our token and assets also stands in stark contrast to what we are trying to present in real life. But with all the lesson we've learnt in crypto over the past 3 years... is that we must be patient and conserve ammunition during market downturns. We have not sold any APRS since TGE, we have only been accumulating steadily, we will stage our comeback when the mobile game is ready, when we have the means to acquire and onramp retail users (i beleive this is the sacred duty of web3 games), and hopefully but not absolutely necessarily, with healthier market conditions.💱 We are so close now, and as cheesy as it sounds, its darkest before dawn, we have witnessed this in Apeiron's ecosystem before the Ronin migration, we will build, we will survive, and we will thrive. What's most important now, is to focus on creating the best gaming experience for new users coming in. Our closed mobile beta testing on google play will begin next week, together with a new bug report flow, we will need all the help we can get to eliminate those bugs and issues and more suggestions to help build a better Apeiron.🙇‍♂️

But there’s still a pattern we can kind of catch—this happens a lot during filming periods. It really happens very often. Because now we’re filming two series at the same time, it’s actually quite difficult to manage our daily routines. For example, in a week there are seven days, right? We might already be out filming four or five days. When you’re shooting two projects at once, even reading scripts becomes hard. Like, we just finished an event at night, and we still have to read scripts first, because the next day we need to wake up at 5 a.m. to go to set. It slowly becomes a daily habit. 🎸: We’re both very tired, because we’re working on the same set of projects—two series, Peach and Me, right, and You Maniac. We’re filming both together, so we understand each other and can really feel what the other is going through since we’re on the same production. We also share updates with each other, like “how are you doing?” and things like that. Because we’re both exhausted, we just think, okay, since it’s like this, let’s give ourselves some time. The trip itself wasn’t packed at all. It was basically like: okay, we go eat at the restaurant we already booked, and then we go… MC: Who was the first to suggest this trip? 🎸: Phi Est. It was Phi Est. When he has free time, his mindset is a bit different from mine. When he’s free, he likes to travel, while I prefer to sleep. So he was the one who first came up with the idea. He basically presented a plan to us, like “does this work?” Then he’d say we’re going to take a boat tour, go here, go there, and so on. He basically planned the whole itinerary in detail. MC: Can you really switch out of that heavy, exhausted state and detach properly? 🎸: Yes, we can. Because it feels like we finally have time to breathe again—a deep breath into the lungs. So I just lay by the sea, let the boat carry us, and look at the sky. That was honestly one of the most satisfying moments of my life, because I felt like that alone was enough. MC: Because your travel styles are similar—he and you like the same kind of travel. 🎸: The style is similar, but he’s a bit more adventurous. Phi Est would go surfing and things like that, right? But this time he didn’t surf. We were both tired, so he mostly focused on taking photos, while I just immersed myself in the atmosphere, looking at the sky and letting my thoughts wander. MC: He just stayed quiet. 🎸: Yeah, that was enough. MC: So how did you divide responsibilities on this trip? What did he do, and what did you do? 🎸: Have you seen that meme? Like, he handles planning the trip, booking restaurants, arranging everything, while I just do the “good morning, good night” part. He basically took care of everything. MC: So you just followed the schedule he already arranged. 🎸: Yes. MC: How can we be sure he won’t make mistakes in planning, that what he arranges is actually the best option? 🎸: I think he understands what I want better. Our tastes are actually quite similar. 🎸: He already arranged everything very well. Even things like booking the car—he handled it and drove it himself. Honestly, it made me feel like I just wanted to applaud him. It was really well done. MC: So you feel both admiration and pride. 🎸: If we did it ourselves, we’d probably just end up taking a small car. For example, if there were a lot of suitcases, he would handle it properly—like choosing the right size car, figuring out how to store the luggage, even things like folding the seats down. He’s very professional about all of that. But me, if I saw a supercar available for rent, I’d probably just want to rent it without thinking at all about where the luggage would go. I’m just like that. So it’s better to let him handle the planning.

It's very easy to understand tbh. 1️⃣ The circumstances that made him join us already gave him a headstart. Refusing United despite pressure from Sporting, using part of his own money, going on strike, etc. He had the club record on shirt sales before he even kicked a ball. 2️⃣ The fact that he was beaten down during the first half of last season relentlessly by both fans and rivals creates an underdog mentality in people's eyes. Even now, the unnecessary piling on for any mistake he does will only have the opposite effect. People will soon start feeling y'all are doing too much (if they don't already do) and take his side. Psychologically, nobody likes seeing the group beat down on someone. 3️⃣ Then his superb form this year felt like the underdog beating the odds to many fans. He also has that humble vibe, so it further pushes the underdog mentality. 4️⃣ What he did for Sweden locked up his Swedish fanbase for life. So there's that. 5️⃣ Then we win the league, something we hadn't done in 22 years and he was our top goalscorer. He had more goals than our other players had goals + assists combined. This mentally felt like vindication to many of the fans that stood by him during the hard start to the season, and converted many more fans. It is a pleasure to be with you this evening to celebrate the memory and contribution of our first Prime Minister, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. He was the prime architect of the modern Indian nation-state. His was a life anchored firmly in parliamentary democracy. He had a steadfast belief in planned economic growth and a profound commitment to the development of scientific temper alongside the development of scientific and technological capabilities. To him, secularism — in which he firmly believed — meant the celebration of India’s many diversities while strengthening its fundamental unity. His legacy continues to shape our everyday lives. Decades have gone by since his time, but he continues to serve as a beacon of light to millions of our countrymen and women. It is inevitable that such a monumental figure will have his life and work analysed and critiqued — and that is indeed as it should be. Although the temptation to divorce him from his times and the challenges that he had to face and to look at him, devoid of the historical context in which he functioned has become quite widespread. Yet, while we welcome ongoing analysis of his contributions, what is not acceptable is the systematic attempt being made to denigrate, distort, demean and defame him. The sole objective of this is to not only diminish him as a personality but also his universally recognised role in India's independence struggle and his early decades as a leader of an independent nation challenged by unprecedented problems, but it is also to demolish his multifaceted legacy in a crude and self-serving attempt to rewrite history. Analysis is one thing, but deliberate mischief with what he said, what he wrote and what he did is another thing and totally unacceptable. And who are the forces that have launched this project? We all know that they have worked for years and years—for decades—and finally, here they are. They belong to an ideology that had no role whatsoever in our freedom movement, that had no role whatsoever in the making of our Constitution. In fact, they even burnt it and were totally against it. It is an ideology that long ago fanned an atmosphere of hate that ultimately led to the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi ji. His killers today continue to be glorified by its adherents. It is an ideology that has consistently rejected the ideals of our founding fathers. It is an ideology with a bigoted and viciously communal outlook. Its approach to nationhood is based on stoking prejudices of all kinds. Let there be no doubt whatsoever that the project to vilify Jawaharlal Nehru ji is the main objective of the ruling establishment today. Their goal is not just to erase him; it is actually to destroy the social, political, and economic foundations on which our nation has been founded and built. The road ahead is not easy. But there is simply no option but for each one of us, individually and collectively, to stand up and confront this project. We not only owe it to the memory of Jawaharlal Nehru ji and his comrades—we owe it to ourselves, and even more to the coming generations. The unapologetic and fierce defence of the Nehruvian legacy is not an act of nostalgia. It is a commitment to restoring India's constitutional promise, to safeguarding reason in the face of propaganda, and to ensuring that our republic remains modern and forward-looking. If we succeed, it will not only honour Jawaharlal Nehru ji's memory; it will ensure that the India he envisioned remains a reality. At a time when tolerance in public life is shrinking, when dissent is painted as disloyalty, and history is reduced to partisan combat, Nehru ji's example becomes even more vital. He taught us that disagreement is not a threat but a democratic necessity—that unity does not demand uniformity; that a confident nation need not fear the truth about its past. [eng trans] Gunil's 11-Minute Concert Ment at Summer Xcape 2026 🐹 hello, it's gunil. so, did something happen yesterday? firstly, i'd just like to share a few thoughts about how i felt during today's show. i'm always the type to talk for a long time, so i'm trying to be careful because i'm worried some of you might fall asleep. but if you want to sleep, that's okay. you have the freedom. 🐹 anyway, the thing i felt while performing today was that... honestly, i think yesterday we were all still a little shy around each other. i know some of you were here yesterday too. because of that, i was honestly really worried about today. ah, but still, we only had two days to begin with, so since this is the second and final day, we really have to enjoy ourselves and have fun without any regrets. i wanted Xdizzto have fun, and i wanted villains to have fun too. but i kept thinking, will that really work out? i was really worried about it a lot. 🐹 but the moment today's first performance started, you all welcomed us with such loud cheers that i think those worries just disappeared. and honestly, today, even when we made our silly jokes, you reacted so well. you cheered like this even when jooyeon was just tuning his guitar. ah, i'm really, truly grateful for that. so, in conclusion, i had a great time today. 🐹 i think it's almost been five years since our debut now, right? five calendar years, right? anyway, some time has passed, and while we've stood on countless stages during that time, i think yesterday and today, Xcape 2026, will remain one of those performances that i'll remember for a very long time. 🐹 today's concert was really fun. but when i think to myself whether that means it was a perfect performance... personally, i don't think so. while i was playing the drums and listening through my in-ear monitor, there were parts i felt like were lacking. and the more i perform, the more ideas i have about areas we can improve so we can make our concerts even more enjoyable. i've noticed a lot of those things myself, and found parts i wanted to improve. so yes, although today's concert was really fun, i won't let us become satisfied with just this. i want us to continue creating performances that are even more fun and have better quality. that's something i really wanted to tell all of you. 🐹 did you all have fun? you all traveled such a long way to get here. for a lot of people, yeongjongdo is actually pretty far away. so the fact that you came all the way here just to see xdiz, is really an act of love. thank you once again, from the bottom of my heart, for loving us so much and coming all this way to support us. i'm not crying. my nose isn't stuffed either. can you hear my sniffling? when i talk quietly, I don't think you can hear me. 🐹 anyway, along time ago, i made a promise to you all, didn't i? i said that xdiz would always be the kind of team that keeps simmering bone broth. [see reply for the context of his "real bone broth" ment] of course, if you eat bone broth every single day, eventually you might start doubting and think "is this really bone broth?" because you get so used to it. but i really cross my heart on this. i'll bet everything on this. without lying, i'll always give my absolute best. i think that's only natural. isn't it wrong to not give your best? 🐹 anyway, i hope you'll continue to believe in us. i hope you keep trusting xdiz. we'll also keep working hard so we can live up to that trust. i believe that precious relationships, as they get deeper, will have more crises/problems. because, well, think about your precious friends. or maybe a neighborhood friend you're close with. or a classmate you were incredibly close to. haven't there been incidents where suddenly that relationship becomes strained because of a crisis? but i believe that a crisis can become an opportunity. so even if there are any of you who may have doubted us, i want to use that as an opportunity to keep proving ourselves to you. 🐹 i hope you know that we're never the kind of people, or the kind of team, that would carelessly take you for granted or treat your love half-heartedly. and i'm so grateful that there are far more people who don't think that way. we really love you all so much. we'll keep talking together after every show, giving each other feedback among ourselves, adressing the areas we fell short on today, and working hard to show you performances that are even more fun and with higher quality. 🐹 oh, right. earlier, when i talked about that promise while mentioning the bone broth, there was something else i said back then too. do you remember me saying the bigger this group gets, as more and more new villains join us, i mentioned that i was afraid some of you may leave so i said i wanted to protect all of you no matter what. nobody actually says things like "what will you protect? protect yourself first." but i think you all understand what i feel. 🐹 honestly, every single one of you is genuinely precious to me. whether there's just one villain or 200,000 villains, you're all still villains. but as our fandom keeps growing, it naturally starts feeling like one huge group. so because of that, i think we might stop feeling like we're seen as an individual person anymore. once again, what i want to tell you here is that every single piece of love that each of you sends us is incredibly precious. really. every single one of you. everyone here, from zone 1 all the way to zone 7000 is so incredibly precious to us. 🐹 when one person comes together... ah no, not just one person. when one person, then another person come together, sometimes they become ten thousand people. that's how it goes, doesn't it? 🐹 anyway, you all know the song "one candle", right? oh, i'm sorry. this is really the last one... actually, you all know i'm a tmi talker. you know, a too much talker. so for a while, i've been telling myself, "ah, i need to restrain myself" and holding back but it's been a while, so, i'll loosen up my mouth a bit more. 🐹 i really love the song "one candle" it talks about how when one candle joins another, then another, and so on, they become one really great light. you are every single one of those lights. when you're standing alone, in a way, you might sometimes feel insignificant. but truly, every one of you is not insignificant. not at all. 🐹 we will become xdiz that grows by constantly reflecting on ourselves, growing through self-reflection, and will never lose our humility so we can become a team that doesn't feel insignificant even if there's just one of us, and even if there were only one of you, we'd still give everything we have until the very end. we would be really grateful if you'll keep believing in us until the very end. and i'll keep believing in our villains until the very end too. thank you. 🐹 also, wasn't this concert amazing? the drums came down from the sky. the instruments came down too. so many incredible things prepared for this show, but this concert couldn't have happened through our efforts alone. there are so many staff members working behind the scenes, and honestly, i think they worked even harder than we did. please give our staff a huge round of applause. and finally, villains, please give yourselves a round of applause too.
