The first meeting of the renewed composition of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council began with a focus on aspects of internal security – namely, economic security. A very concrete task is to channel more of Ukraine’s internal efforts toward development and economic growth, and consequently, increased production and job creation that can support our defense and Ukraine’s resilience. We must significantly scale up investment in Ukraine and the implementation of joint projects with our partners, particularly the localization of production in Ukraine. By the decision of the NSDC, a real moratorium has been introduced on business inspections by state authorities and, in general, on any interference by government bodies in entrepreneurial activity. The moratorium provides the necessary foundation for fully implementing essential decisions for economic security and analyzing relevant practices. Everything intended to support Ukrainian business and Ukraine's cooperation with partners must be implemented swiftly and without exception.
