It's not accurate to the books. Chain understood the stakes and what Paul had to do. Why Denis went this direction is one of PT 2 flaws. The Sci-Fi mini series is more accurate!

Zendaya was a horrible choice for this role and nothing will change my mind.

Chani was whiny during the 2nd film.

Through Chani’s eyes, we understand the devastating consequences of Paul’s choices.۔۔۔ what a classic storyline

He’s a brilliant director and did an amazing job with Dune…. But this was a glaring mistake. There was no need to take such a ham-fisted approach to leading the audience. Would have been much better to do what the books did and just tell the story and let people discuss it and draw their own conclusions. I really hope that the 3rd movie doesn’t suffer from this and become garbage.

@wbpictures Through Zendaya’s agent, we see her pout like a little girl because strong independent woman needs more screen time

Everyone who loved the first two movies will be really curious where he goes with this love triangle in Part III. And actually almost every Martin Scorsese movie has some form of a love triangle and he does it so well.

☝🏻♥️

Hard to see how he can waste screen time to dovetail it back in without sacrificing other important elements of Dune Messiah and the only alternative is doing it off screen. Seems like a gamble imo. Can't help but to think her major changed weren't instead driven by politics.
