Today, through coal gasification, India is witnessing the beginning of a new revolution in the coal sector. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the coal sector has undergone a remarkable transformation. Before 2014, the news headlines around coal were often associated with uncertainty and negativity. Today, the sector is moving forward with confidence, reforms, innovation, and a renewed vision. Over the last 12 years, the Government has introduced constructive and reform-driven initiatives that are reshaping the coal sector’s future. As India moves towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, the coal sector carries a major responsibility and Coal gasification is set to play a defining role.
