Man… this something that I never wish upon me and my wife but I strongly believe in through sickness and health.

The lesson here is that no one is so self-sufficient that they don't need others, because when our greatest treasure, our health, fails us, the only strength we have left comes from God, who sustains us in the struggle for life.✝️💙🛐

My wife has MS and is disabled. What I do for her is very similar to this. It's a very frustrating life, but we've been married 40 years and I promised to her in front of God, family, and friends, through sickness and in health.

This reminds me of my parents. In their 70s, mom suffered a debilitating stroke. Dad remodeled a home by himself while caring for her without any help. Shower,hair,makeup all meals. Over 10 years, he tended to her every need. This clip brought up many feelings... made me cry.❤️

I took care of my hubby for 4 1/2 years while he battled cancer. He lost his battle and I am forever lost without him. Just a few weeks away from it being a year.

Wow! I commend this fellow on his love and dedication... a rare quality, that! However... I WOULD also be compelled to tell him that he dropped her head bandana on the road when he was bringing her into the van.. 😃

I know this love in every fiber of my being caring for my paraplegic son. Nothing has ever filled me with more love, devotion, loyalty and fierce protection over those who think they understand his needs. 99% don't understand, even Dr.'s. God Blessed me.

My mom, looked after my WChair brother after multiple leg amputations and shock treatment. For 40+ years she looked after him, her final decade living in US gave her some reward before she passed. I am now a close to a 70yo orphan and I miss all my dear family everday. ❤️ this.

He is truly amazing; such a perfect husband and father is extremely rare in this society. For me, life should be grateful and I should offer him a flower of love that life has bestowed upon him.

And I thought I had it tough taking care of my wife who has dementia and Alzheimer’s. I wish that it was reversed and that she was my caregiver because she is naturally a loving person who cares for other people not that I don’t, but at the same token, I never want to lose her.

What an amazing man who truly has unconditional love for his wife 🥹💕 But Nope, I wouldn't want to put my loved one through this. I would want them to put me in a state where I can fall asleep peacfully forever. No matter how painful it would be for them. This isn't a life for anyone. It is just suffering for everyone.

I experienced through sickness and health with my husband of 39 years that I cared for. He had Alzheimer's Disease and every day was pure hell. I miss him, he was a good man.💖
