The point I made in my previous post, that Botswana’s President, Advocate Duma Boko, has spoken out against xenophobia and Afrophobia, is not something I made up. It is a matter of public record. I have attached a video of President Boko speaking out against xenophobia. He has been consistent, and his political party recently held a conference at which, out of all the politicians in Southern Africa, it invited Julius Malema, a South African Pan-Africanist who has consistently spoken out against xenophobia and Afrophobia. Botswana has been clear and consistent in its position on xenophobia and Afrophobia. When I say these things, they may be inconvenient for some people, but that does not make them any less true. The truth is not determined by what you or I want it to be. The truth is determined by the facts.

Buttigieg: If I was advising President Trump, I would advise him to start by speaking the truth to the American people because when he says it's going to be four weeks and then breaks that promise it reminds people of when he said he wouldn't start this war and broke that promise. The outrageous news that we just got with the Trump administration removed the names of four of our service members who were killed in action apparently because the fact that they were killed in action goes against his fiction that sometimes he says we are actually not in a war even though everybody knows we are. What I would say to him is when I was in uniform when I was deployed, I knew that on some level my life depended on the credibility of the people running our government. American lives depend on him telling the truth even when it's hard.

THIS WOMAN SEEMS TO KNOW AT LEAST A COMPARTMENTALIZED SECTION OF THE TRUTH: I find it very interesting that this woman talks about the contracts with what she calls the "Greys" existing, but what I find extremely interesting is how does she know that this contract expired? I have only released that information recently and I am the only whistleblower that has ever said that I even gave the time when it expired and why. Issues of paternity have shaped our society for generations, especially in Zimbabwe. They did not start today. I remember going to a funeral with my father in the 1990s, and as we sat around the fire the men began sharing stories. One of them has stayed with me ever since. A Zimbabwean doctor had married a nurse, and they struggled to have children. As usual, when there is no child, the blame was placed on the woman. She went to see her own doctor, who told her plainly that she was not the problem, and advised her to bring her husband for testing. The husband refused, as many Zimbabwean men tend to do. Their marriage eventually collapsed, with the man insisting he could not be the problem because he had a child with another woman before marrying the nurse. That woman, he said, was also a doctor, and he was raising that child. After the divorce, the nurse remarried another doctor, and she immediately fell pregnant. Because it was a tight medical community, the whole situation became a talking point. The ex-husband had loudly declared that his former wife was barren, yet here she was having one child after another, three in total, with her new husband. Meanwhile, the ex-husband remarried, and again there were no children. One day the ex-husband and his former wife met at a gathering. During a casual conversation, as people who once knew each other, she told him directly that he was raising a child who was not his. She told him that he had no capacity to father a child and that if he finally went for tests, he would discover the truth. She reminded him how he had insulted her and her parents, and how he had refused to listen. The revelation shook him. He went for tests, and it was confirmed that he was the problem. He had spent seventeen years looking after a child who was not his. The moral of the story is simple, and I always stress this when mentoring young people. When in doubt, check. In fact, even without doubt, check. A DNA test at birth saves you from future heartbreak. Many men are raising children who are not theirs. Some women know exactly what they are doing. Others genuinely do not know because their relationships overlapped before they settled down. In those cases, even the woman cannot be sure who the father is. So when you have a child, get a DNA test. If you ask for one and a woman becomes defensive or resistant, that is a major red flag. At that point, the test is no longer optional, it is necessary. That is the reality of life today. As they say, trust is beautiful, but DNA is confirmation. In this life we live, hope is not a strategy when it comes to your children, so test your child and protect your future, as the saying goes. I have DNA stories that I could share for a whole year. The first time I heard Zohran Mamdani speak, I knew he was the real deal. There are few politicians that make the hairs on my arms stand up when they deliver a stump speech, but this man did just that. There was no question he was going to be demonised, because his ‘people first’ approach to leadership went against everything that politics has become in America. It takes real balls to wear the badge of Social Democracy and be proud of it, in a world where the political class are largely bought and paid for by corporations and special interests. It takes even bigger balls to defy the Democratic establishment and prove to them that you are the future and not them. And the cherry on the cake? He’s a Muslim. He will go down in history as a leader of his generation, because he truly believes in what Obama called ‘the audacity of hope’. His communication skills are second to none and his determination to ‘get stuff done’ is an inspiration, especially when inspiration and integrity left the building following the hostile takeover of the US Supreme Court. This weekend, at the NCCM & Islamic Relief Canada gala, the Mayor of Canada’s largest city, stood with us and spoke the truth: that what is happening in Gaza is a genocide. That truth matters. It matters to the mothers who have buried their children. It matters to those who have been silenced and vilified for saying what is obvious to anyone with eyes and conscience. And it matters to every Canadian who still believes that moral courage must guide public life. Mayor Chow’s words tonight were not about politics — they were about acknowledging the genocide in Gaza, and the path forward. It is an acknowledgment that has important policy implications, as we all know, because as well also all know, there are far too many who have not made this acknowledgment. Mayor Chow’s words tonight make it clear that recognizing genocide for what it is the only ethical imperative. The standard should be speaking the truth. What is happening is a genocide. The time where everybody had to sit around and pretend that what wasn’t happening wasn’t happening has passed. We don’t need to be bullied and cowed. That time is over, and it was over years ago. Speaking the truth is the only way to be decent right now. Everyone - and that includes our politicians - must speak the truth. As the Mayor also reminded us, there is still much wrong here in Toronto. And we’ve seen terrible things happen to shut down peaceful protests to stand against the genocide in Toronto over the past few years. There are communities who do not feel safe. There are systems that must be rebuilt. There is work that lies ahead. That is why NCCM exists. To call for justice in Gaza, and also justice everywhere in Canada.
